I wishing they had better packaging.

This is the second pair of these that we have bought for two different boat trailers and each time we order a set the spring are dislodged (rolling around in the shipping box) and there's usually missing hardware (manufacturer packing issues). With that said karma once everything is assembled properly they work great.

Why didn't I get these much sooner!?

Why didn't I get these much sooner!? Super easy install, my trailer did not require any other brackets making it a no brainier. Time will tell on durability but as it stands the seem well built but may require occasional lubrication. There is no doubt these will hold the back of your boat to the trailer. Definitely a faster more secure product vs a traditional transom strap.

My husband was very excited to get these for fathers day. Didn't take long to install them onto the trailer. Unfortunately one of them has been getting stuck, it will not release. Ended up having to take it totally off at the boat ramp and put it back on after being on the water all day.

WORKS GREAT FOR TRANSOM TIE DOWN

Convenient strap storage and quick hook-up and disconnect. Installation was fairly simple to trailer with new longer bolts.

Received and installed easily. Stainless steel looks way better than zinc plated. They appear to be quality. Time will tell.

don't use their bolts.

both bolts and lock nuts were so bad that in trying to tighten them they froze after a few threads and couldn't get them on or off with a 1/2" driver. I'm worried now when I put new bolts and nuts on them that maybe the ratchets will eventually break or jam. I should have bought Boat Buckle, I never had a problem with them. I paid over 90 bucks for these.
