Powerful but not perfect.

My Ninja Foodie bit the dust, and I need a powerful, cheapy blender for smoothies. This one almost wins with its exceptional power for the price point. It processed frozen banana and frozen coconut milk with little effort. Other 'Pros' include its easy use and clean up. But for all its power, the blade structure doesn't yield a smoothie as smooth as my old Ninja did. Also, it's big. Great for margarita night but a bit big for a single drink. Moreover, the lightweight plastic jar and base make me questions its longevity, and I don't consider it sturdy enough for vigorous use. I don't know if I'll keep it, but I do recommend it if you search for a simple but powerful blender to occasionally blend drinks for a crowd, puree soups or similar tasks.

What a mess!

I've had smaller bullets in the past but wanted to buy something bigger so I can make larger batches for the family. The blender is light weight and easy to use. Blends everything great - however, the first time I use it and I make an absolute mess in my kitchen. How do you pour a smoothly into a glass without it spilling all over the place? The blender has a 2" spout, and the lid needs to be taken off or it won't pour. I used a glass with a 2.5" opening, and it was not big enough to pour without spilling all over the sides of the spout and glass? I'm not making smoothies to pour into bowls. Will try using the blending containers my previous bullets came with to pour into next time - but not everyone has large drinking vessels! Wish there was a way to keep the lid on and rotate an opening (like some pitchers) so you don't have it all pouring over the sides...disappointed.

Awesome blender! ☆☆☆☆☆

I use this blender every day for smoothies containing fresh and frozen products. It will liquefy just about anything you put in it within reason. I've used it for smoothies, purees, dips, soups and even coffee beans "With caution"! Amazing product. I would recommend it for anyone from beginners to culinary professionals!

unit is square inside

I bought this because it was round so food would not get trapped, but inside it is square inside like many others so food does not swirl as it should because its square, why do they make it that way

We've been Nutri fans for a long time. We upgraded because we wanted a larger blend cup. This latest purchase does not disappoint. Looks great, works extremely well. So far we've only used it to make smoothies, but it blends raw fruit and veggies to a fine liquid. Soon we're on to sauces, dressings and soups!

best blender I've ever owned

the only thing I ask of my blender is that it makes my morning kale, spinach etc.. smoothie. That is the criterion on which i do my research. In recent years Ive used both a ninja and breville. The ninja is good for other things but turning kale into a smoothie is not one of them. The Breville ranked well on consumers reports and after 3 mins on full power did a good job on the kale... but the power cog broke in less than a year. My new bullet has twice the power. and does the same job in 1 minute. and the jug is nice and BIG by comparison. For the price you cant beat it.
