Simple Food Prep!

With a first child, meals can be intimidating, between potential allergens and texture choking hazards, especially with initial foods. I came across this and...wow! The dual steamer is super helpful for making multiple meals and the blender has grown with our child from first food purees to slightly mashed toddler food no problem! It cleans fairly easily although it needs frequent scaling and can be prone to clouding. Overall, we are very happy and can definately recommend it, especially to to new parents or parents with multiple little ones! It is a time and stress saver!

Excellent Product

If you’re a new mama, or dada, and store bought baby food isn’t to your liking, you have got to buy this. It was the best purchase we’ve made for our baby, now toddler. It was incredibly easy to use, super easy to clean, came with neat recipes, and so much more. It really is an all-in one product. To help our baby transition into baby food, I knew I didn’t want to buy store bought, and I was determined to make it. I started out by using a steamer, and then dumping the steamed food into our Ninja. It was not a fast process, and I dirtied a lot of kitchen items in the meantime. When my husband found this, it made our lives so much simpler. You can steam multiple foods at once, and while the steamer is going, you can be blending up the food on the side. The blender is incredible. Super strong and fast. The only glitch with this product is that I believe it’s a French based company. So while the instructions are in English, we found them to be a bit hard to follow. We eventually did understand and got the hang of it, but it took a few times. Lastly, after about 8 months, our blender went out. A little plastic piece on the bottom where it connected to the base gave way. For French citizens, you can get a replacement. But for US citizens, you cannot. So we would have had to buy a whole new machine. That was the biggest downside. We could’ve been a little rough with it since it’s plastic; we aren’t sure. It held up for a long time. We considered it a timely loss though since our baby had become a toddler and was working towards eating solids. Other than that though, it worked perfectly. Dishwasher safe too. There is also a BabyMoov app you can download with more tips and recipes. It’s a great product. Just maybe needs to be constructed to be a little sturdier. Overall a great purchase for our family.

SO CONVENIENT

The media could not be loaded. I was so skeptical about this product at first. But I decided to get it. I read all the reviews a lot of them said it’s hard to clean and it’s very inconvenient. Let me tell you that’s not the same experience for me. It is so convenient to have this machine. I can make purées for my baby so much easier and faster. And it’s not difficult to clean; as long as you do it right after you use it, you’re good. I don’t typically review items, but this deserves over five stars. Prior to having this machine I used to have like multiple pot on the stove and trying to do it and it was so discouraging. To the point where I did not want to make purées or my own food for the baby. And this machine makes it a lot easier for me that has been my experience so far. I am even able to make purées during the week which was not possible before. convenience is key! So stop thinking about it and get it and believe me, it will make your life a lot easier.

It’s the best thing to have when start solid

I rarely review any product but this duo meal station deserves a 10 stars .. it’s very easy to set up and easy to use. Especially for those busy parent like me, I highly recommend this one. I have been use it as my baby just start solid. It takes 20 mins for steaming (I have been making sweat potatoes, squash and pea ) and 5 mins to purée. I soaked them before washing so it’s very easy ( I timed myself and it takes 7 mins to wash both the steamer and the blender) . If you are looking for the food maker for your baby or if you have to be on a purée diet , this is the one you should get. There are cons that I think I should mention as well, the cord is short ( I used the extension cord to be able to put it on the counter top, if not it need to be literally next to the plug) and the size of blender ( if to the maximum like it’s about 24 oz) . But I think it’s a decent size , especially for baby.

Not making life easier and hard to clean

I had hoped that a baby food maker would make my life easier, but I don't feel this is the case with the duo meal station. The meal station is quite involved to clean. If you use one compartment, it's still 4 pieces to either hand wash or throw in the dishwasher, but the real hassle is cleaning the water tank. There's no convenient way to clean it. You have to unplug the unit, take off the blender unit (otherwise it will drop in the sink in the process), pour out the water and wipe it clean. Very disappointingly, it's not even mentioned in the user manual that the water tank needs to be cleaned after every use. Following the user manual (ie not cleaning the water tank) resulted in mold growing in the water tank, so not mentioning this in the manual is a HUGE and dangerous miss!! Cleaning a pot and a steam insert is less work to clean and as the blender is not combined with the steaming unit, there's also no advantage of having a one step process with this meal station. I still need to cut the food, throw it in the steamer (I could just as easily throw it in a pot) and transfer it to the blender (the smoothie adapter for our Ninja blender actually works better and again is easier to clean than the blender of the duo meal station). Not recommended to buy!!

Buenisimo

Estoy fascinada con este procesador. Muy fácil de usar ademas de bastante segura, es decir si te falta ponerle agua o no aseguraste bien el vaso de la licuadora te avisa y no te permite iniciar. No ocupa mucho espacio. Y se ve muy linda puesta en la cocina. No viene un recetario físico pero te da una aplicación para el celular con recetas específicas para este procesador y divididas por edad hasta los dos años o dividida por ingrediente y en español. Así como el manual de usuario también en español. Ya hice algunos platillos para el bebé (solo verduras) y muy muy bien. La verdad que estoy encantada con mi compra. Lo único que no me gustó es la caja que estaba “dañada/vieja” para ser un producto nuevo.

Really happy with purchase

We're not at the age for solid foods yet, but I've still used the steaming/blending features for our meals (guac, sauces, dressings etc) the bottle warming feature is pretty fool proof and easy to use. I've used the sanitizing feature as well and it's convenient when my big microwave sanitizer it's in use. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase! It offers a wide variety of functions is one device which saves on counter space.

WE use this almost daily.

I love my Babymoov!! My daughter has many types of foods because it is so easy to use. The only issue I have with it is the lid for the blender has a hole on the top (maybe to let out steam), that is a hard thing to clean, and because food gets stuck in there, it could be a problem in terms of mold. I blow into it to release the food from the other side and have used toothpicks to dislodge it if it is stuck. Maybe in the next model, the red tab can be removed for easier access to the hole.

I got this a little early because my baby isn't due until July but I tried it out and I love it! So simple to use, easy clean up by putting it all in the dishwasher. I love the fact that I can make enough food for my husband and I too and then puree what I need for baby. I would highly recommend this!
