Very Easy to use!!!

Luv....I cover up vents in rooms that are not being used...Great!!! So easy cut- press - & seal..that easy..30 seconds!!!!

Wear gloves

The packaging says no gloves required. The six cuts on my hands would disagree. Would recommend wearing gloves. The adhesion is good, except at the ends, so I would recommend some tape to hold the ends down. Otherwise it seems good, wasn’t hard to install, placing could be adjusted if wrapping didn’t go quite right. I’d buy this again.

Have isopropyl alcohol and heat gun if you are using this for sound dampening.

Let me first start out by saying I used this for sound deadening and not for what it was intended for. Should've listened to the reviews. Shipping was fast and everything came packaged nicely. It's very light and has 1 reflective surface. It's very easy to cut with a razor knife and can be trimmed while "mounted". On to installation: 1) if I had alcohol (which is pretty hard to come by these days. Used to be like $3 at Walmart, now it's triple if not more) to clean the doors with it MAY have gone on easier. I also used a 4" wallpaper roller and no heat gun (it was almost 90 and I was in direct sunlight). Pieces kept falling off even after rolling pretty firmly. Even after pieces were attached they wouldn't be tight. Again I think alcohol cleaning would've helped a bunch. When I shut the door and also when I listened to music there wasn't much of a difference, if any. Haven't installed the subs yet and I'm pretty sure just the midbasses alone will rattle this loose. If you are using this for audio sound deadening I would suggest going with Peel n Seal as it's MUCH easier to apply, seriously deadening sound, and while not being AS cheap as this does the trick WAY better. On a side note I actually used the other 1.5 rolls on ducts, where it's supposed to be used, and it stuck fine and the vents don't get "sweaty". If using for car audio, either have alcohol and a heat gun or buy Peel n Seal.

Does its job

Does the job of insulating the heat from a portable AC exhaust. Doesn't stick to itself well, but i was prepped for that from the other reviews.

It works great in trucks!

Great for inside your truck doors - I sprayed headliner adhesive to make sure it stayed in place but might’ve been overkill. I also cleaned the surface with brake cleaner before. Good stuff.

Good Product

Good product for what it was made for , but I used it for sound deadening on my 2016 F-150 4 door truck . I think it helped some but not greatly . It's not overly sticky . You could remove it easily if you needed to . The package looked kind of old so that may have something to do with it . I had plenty to cover all four doors and then some . 12" X 15ft. roll .

Insulation heating ducts in your home..

The foil wrap for heating ducts is foam and adhesive backed. Perfect for sticking to ductwork that you want to keep warm or block sound from entering the ductwork. It is one continuous roll and there is no backing paper so you have to be careful when unrolling it. That is why I gave it four stars instead of five. It should have a paper backing so you can cut it to the size you need without is sticking to you or the work surface. On the plus side it is quite thick and sticks to the ductwork quite well.

Easy to install

Since the ducting insulation has an adhesive side, it makes it easy to install. Also, the application process is very easy to perform. All you require is a sharp utility knife, a measuring tape and a straight edge. Very simple to work with.

Product adhesive doesn't work. Just fell off in a couple of hours.

Doesn't stick so is useless for my application.
