Got me through a move without issue. Hefty is still my favorite. These tore easier along seam when used to transport clothes on hangers, didn't cause any real problems. Good buy.

the diameter of the bag itself is 51 cm (20 inches)

Got this item. Was able to pull the sack over a metal circle 55 cm (21.6 inches) in diameter. It's better to use a 51-52 cm circle as the bag itself is 51 cm (20 inches) in diameter. I am using a 50 cm (20 inches) diameter four legged circle. The legs are 75 cm (30 inches) long. Maybe I'll attach a photo later. In order not to spoil the transparent bag, I insert a circle with a diameter of 50 cm into a circle with a diameter of 55 cm, a reusable white bag is inserted into a circle with a diameter of 55 cm. After filling, the inserted transparent bag can be dragged over any surface.

Absolutely my best purchase

I purchased 2 different "contractor trash bags" this purchase of clear contractor bags exceeded my expectations on durability, construction and additionally other reviewers opinions helped me decide. There are so many more options to use these clear bags versus the black ones I purchased. I stacked my entire winter blankets in one bag dragged it across my stone driveway to store for the summer and it did not tear! I then took my bed quilts and arranged them neatly in the clear bag to create outdoor patio cushions and they look great and they are soft too. I used rubber bands to tie and slipped the tie underneath and compared to patio cushions costing in excess of a hundred dollars, these worked great. When I go to the site on Amazon, I always always check out "other sellers" and when I find the amazon warehouse I always always buy from Amazon warehouse. These clear ones came next day in a destroyed box but the contents are the same minus 7.00 in original price which is fantastic and I feel good about saving the earth in little tiny ways by purchasing second hand so to speak. I was so disappointed by the other black bags that were flimsy and falsely advertised as contractor bags. These will also no doubt hold off the wild animals from getting at my recyclables, mainly cans. There are so many other things I can use these for. And thanks to reviewers ideas on moving and storage, which were creative and got me thinking on other uses besides trash collection.

If you need a clear bag these work great

Local transfer station will not accept black bags. These work great. Heavy Duty 3 mil.

I used them to move house. I put all my clothes in these bags. Real strong bags. Will buy more if needed to move or for garden work

Best heavy-duty extra-large bags I've found

These are huge - and thick. Unless you're tossing nails in these you shouldn't have a problem. I use them for the many boxes I receive from my deliveries and the corners aren't a problem. I have yet to tear a bag and I've used hundreds. Generally under $25 a box and delivered quickly, if you need heavy duty, large(!) garbage bags, these are for you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

These construction bags are amazing for house hold waste, garage use and yard waste. All round the best garbage bags I’ve come across. Very durable and a huge. Great thickening and never came across issues with ripping even with glass inside. Come it a box rolled up! Will definitely be purchasing more in the future when I run out.
