Item is working great just don't expect it to last long

Working great. The old one is mounted under a metal plate in the bottom of my oven so I couldn't see it until I removed the cover. It was twisted up like a pretzel. The new one had to be installed the same way. I have read several articles about the lower heating coil and they say using the self cleaning feature caused the problem. I had used the self cleaning feature many times. I have a top of the line Frigidaire oven. I did a complete kitchen remodeling 10 years ago and purchased all new appliances. I had to replace the main controller (brain) for the oven a couple of years ago. When the dishwasher broke after only 3 years. (cost more to repair than replace) I repaired my microwave 3 times until the main power unit failed and cheaper to replace. My refrigerator goes through a cycle where it warms up to the point all the ice in the ice maker melts appliance repair company came out and said that the manufacturer came out with a kit to repair that issue. Cost me $500.00 and didn't fix the problem. So far they can't figure it out. I really questioned why I had to pay for a kit that the manufacturer knew to be a problem. If it was a car they would have issued a recall and repaired for free. When I/we did the remodel and purchased all new top of the line appliances. We did our homework on all the the appliances and figured we should get around 20 years of service from them. There is only 2 people living here that take good care of everything we own. Obviously nothing is made to last very long anymore. Growing up in the late 50's and 60's appliances lasted my parents and grandparents 20+ years.

This item works but the shipping was just unbelievable. First off the delivery dates kept changing. The box that this heating element arrived in was three sizes too big with one tiny sheet of packaging paper. One of the electrical probs was bent so hubby had to bend it back and held his breath while doing so,he didn’t want to break it. It did work and we are grateful for that but it could have been avoided with proper packaging.

Seemed to be good quality

Purchased to replace failed element. Good price compared to others. Hardest part was getting the old element out since it had broken and badly distorted under the cover. Easy to replace otherwise and worked perfectly.

As advertised, identical to the original part.

Has been working great for over a month now, looks and feels identical to the one that it replaced. Just make sure you do not have any food in the oven for the first time you use this element since it needs to burn off some residues or something and it smells kind of funny for like 15 minutes. Other elements I've changed in the past also did this so it's not unique to this element. Also make sure you turn off the breaker to your oven and check the voltage on the tabs before you touch them when you replace the element!

I believe it's rather obvious what you would use an Oven Element for ! As for the service, I was pleased at the early delivery.
