Would buy AGAIN and AGAIN
The Freemie is a game changer. My son has had difficulty latching and so I have been pumping since they day he was born. This has required me to schedule my life around a pumping schedule and be chained to my plug in pump. It has been a lot of work, but he is worth it. I saw the Freemie and read the very mixed reviews. I was a little hesitant to purchase because it’s not exactly cheap and I don’t think it’s returnable. However, for the promise of freedom I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I could not be happier and I recommend the Freemie to all my friends who are nursing mothers. First, I use the cups with the Ameda Mya Joy portable pump and it works without any issues. That was a relief since it is not listed as one of the tested pumps. But it works. I can walk around the house, plug it into the power outlet in the car, etc. The fit...no, it does not look completely natural. You’re putting plastic cups in your bra. Let’s be realistic. The instructions even advise you to wear a loose shirt or a scarf if you want to better conceal what you’re doing. However, you’re walking around with a pump...the motor is pretty audible. It’s no secret what you’re doing. So, why is everyone concerned that it looks like there is something in your bra? I walk my dog, push the stroller, and talk to me neighbors while I’m pumping. No one seems upset. It is not as easy to see if your nipples are completely centered in the flange. I can line them up pretty well when I put the cup on. I haven’t had any issues. You are able to see if the pump is suctioning and pulling the nipple in. It’s just not as clear as a traditional pump. I’m a D cup and don’t have any issues with my breast tissue suffocating the pump as some reviewers mentioned. No, you can’t bend over because there is a drain whole on the top. This is in the instructions and I think also common sense. I just make a point to squat down. Hey, it’s better posture anyway. The bra fit is key. Also in the instructions. You do need to have a decently snug bra because you’re relying on the bra to hold the cups against your chest. I wear a very basic cotton nursing bralette from Motherhood Maternity. It worked out the first time and I haven’t had any issues with the fit or keeping the cups in place. Lastly, I haven’t noticed a decline in output with this system. I pump just as much as when I use my regular flanges. It is true that you can’t really judge output while you’re pumping. There are markers on the cups but you can’t really read them while you’re pumping. I just kinda look in there to make sure it’s collecting something. This is a game changer. It gives you a lot of freedom while pumping. Yes, you may look like you’re wearing Madonna’s bra circa the 1990s but it does exactly what you need it to so, I can live with that.

Good for commutes and at work
I have a 25 minute commute each way to work and while these are not "discreet", I can put them under my shirts and jackets so I can pump while I drive without feeling on display! I'm a teacher making pumping a bit more challenging, so pumping to and from work is essential. These cups work with my Ameda MyaJoy pump with some creativity with the tubing. I also think I get more out of them than I do the traditional flanges and setup. If you are a working mom you need these (or something like it). These are the best out there for the price. If you can spend $400 I'm sure there are other better models. But for the price, it does the job!

Easy night time pumping
I use this with my baby budda pump and they're super handy because you can just plop it into your bra. The only downside is that I don't think they draw as good of a suction as the flange that came with my pump so you don't empty as much. Still worth the purchase especially if you're exclusively pumping and want to be more mobile while pumping

Works with a baby budha
Upon a recommendation I chose to use this collection method in combination with a baby Budha breast pump to provide a more discreet pumping capability. This works well with the pump although I have struggled with it from time to time getting the full suction power but that is possibly user error. There are a lot of pieces to these collection cups to clean and reassemble. I think my biggest difficulty with this is that it is very difficult to pull apart to clean but that also means that as long as its closed it won't pop open when using it unexpectedly. Overall, a good purchase and one that I use frequently.

Exclusive pumper, work great
I do not typically write reviews, but I am trying to be better at this since I have relied on reviews heavily for breastfeeding and baby equipment as a first time mom. My daughter began refusing to breastfeed at seven weeks of age, so I started exclusively pumping at that time. I was having a hard time managing caring for my baby and pumping the frequency needed using my Spectra and traditional flanges, so I purchased these along with the MayMom 17 mm inserts. I read a lot of discussion about these types of flanges causing a decrease in milk production. I have been using them for almost a month, and have maintained my normal milk output. I have used them with both my Spectra and the Pumpables Genie Advanced pumps. Although most sources say to use the traditional flanges for the night, middle of the night, and morning pumps, I am using the Freemie cups for all of my pumps except my bedtime pump. My output has remained the same using this strategy. I find these flanges to be more comfortable than the traditional style flanges. The only con is that cleaning them is a little more labor intensive than your traditional style flanges. I would definitely recommend using these.

My baby buddhas best friend!
Idk why but I get the MOST satisfaction using circular cups for pumping! Whether it was a momcozy pump or these freemie cups, seeing them filled up gives me a sense of pride! I’m an exclusive pumper and use these with my Baby Buddha and if you haven’t heard, the suction on the baby Buddha is strong and great, making these cups a great companion! I used to use the momcozy S12 and would be discouraged to see only 1 1/2 - 2 ounces in the cups. With these plus the BB, a dream! As you can see I can fill up to 3 1/2 in both cups. The cups themselves CAN be tricky. The back flow protector can be difficult to suction back on to the flange and if that is not put in correctly, you unfortunately have to take the cups apart and reput them back together. That is the only down side! I also wish they had adapters that came with so that the tubes don’t fall out or get loose. Otherwise, great set of collection cups

Love this! Must buy!
I absolutely love these cups! They have saved me from getting mastitis quite a few times! I paired with the bellababy pump and it works like a dream. I wore these under my shirt at work and pumped in front of customers! With the music in the store no one knew i was pumping!

They work!
I have these for my spectra. I work in an emergency department where there is little place to pump. With these, I can pump between seeing patients while writing notes. I can even detach the tubes and attend to a crashing patient then just plug back in and pick up where I left off. I will be recommending these to all my colleagues.

Love it, but not built to last
I absolutely love my freemie cups, but although it says on the pamphlet it can be used daily and the cup barrier will last up to a year, not even 3 months later, not even pumping with it every day (and using it once a day if I do use it), and following the washing directions to a T, my one cup barrier is not sealing properly. I can hear the air leaking out and it is sucking milk up into it. I've done troubleshooting and theres nothing I can do about it, it keeps sucking the milk up. I would gladly order replacement cup barriers since I love having the freedom to clean and/or go out and pump with my freemie cups, but I cant find anywhere that sells them in Canada and 5 different addresses for Ontario on the freemie website itself says it doesnt ship to that location. So I'm extremely disappointed since my return window passed about 12 days before the cup barrier stopped working

Not compatible with Medela! Ok but not amazing…
First of all there are some people who answered the question “is this compatible with medela?” With yes, but actually none of the Medela pumps are included in the list of compatible pumps. Funny enough I got to discover that AFTER I purchased and they truly cannot be compatible with my Medela because the tubing connects differently. However, with a little hack I made it work with my Medela Freestyle Flex thanks to the silicone of the freemie connector being flexible. Connected the freemie tube to one medela tube, closed the other one. Anyway, it worked to pump milk but had to use max suction. Long tubing may lose some suction. The flanges are max size of 28mm so if you need bigger, like I do, not available. The smaller flanges don’t hurt me anymore but they pump less milk. Also this cost me about 170 CAD which is a lot of money for just cups and not the pump. Funny enough after I bought them I discovered that there exists also a company called legendairy that makes a similar product and does ship to Canada directly from their website in US and they are cheaper AND they are compatible with my medela pump according to the list on their site. I was so desperate for something that I just bought the first thing I found. My baby has been having a nursing strike during the day for a month and pumping and bottle feeding alone is close to impossible. Also I am a part time student. I rarely had time to pump during the day and I had a drop in milk supply probably because of this. Anyway, although they are a change from the Medela bottles sticking out of my chest, these are not as efficient at drawing milk out of my breasts, and they take longer time to do so. However, I wear them almost all day and wash every 4 hours and pump every two hours and it worked to return my milk supply, which I am grateful for. With these on I can study, prepare my meals, clean up or do laundry, stuff I could not so before with the medela bottles as they kept falling off and losing suction if I did not lean over while pumping; they are super cumbersome despite the alleged portability of their pump with a wrist bracelet, very not practical. I bought a fanny pack for the pump and it helps. Anyway, my breasts are way too large already, 36dd or 36e depending on the bra brand, and even if I lost the baby weight I still have way larger breasts than what I was used to before. With these added on they look giant and they are hard plastic. It is tough to hold my baby because of the obstacle my chest is. So in conclusion, they are helpful but not wow and not compatible with Medela.

Muy cómodas y discretas, las recomiendo
¡Me encantaron!
