very fun but is a tiny bit different from its counterpart

So I got two similar pot holders with funny sayings on it. I love them. They are hilarious and very good quality. I wrote a review on the other one but since some of you may not see it, let me go ahead and repeat a few things that were similar about both and what was different. First, both of them are excellent quality. The stitching is actually real, and NOT a print. i had thought it would be a print. I was so impressed when it came in and it was actually real stitching. and I love that the backside was not just pain. Its not sticking but it feels like plastic part but it had textured. So I appreciate it. I suspect this is the way it is becuase you need to use that side to touch hot things. Now, whats different threw me off a little because I didnt expect this. There was two things I noticed was different. This one, the "Not going to cook itself" was more inferior than the other one for these two reasons. One, if you look a the border, you can see it's sider on this one. It seemed a little more sloppy and they didn't cut it to all be precise. The other one border was smaller. Second, you can't see this in the pic but this one was thinner! It wasn't significant but I noticed when I had both in my hand. That was kind of disappointing as I thought they would identical in all ways except the saying. Now, if you only had one, like this one, you would not notice. I only notice because I had two to compare. In and of itself, it's fine. It's great quality. I just expected more because I had another one already. overall, I am still glad I bought it. I love that I have a set of these and I wouldn't return it. It makes my kitchen unique, a little fun, and shows my personality.

potholder or decoration??

Honestly, this is the best of both worlds. I love these potholders so much I got a second one. I love the sayings - they're spicy, funny, and witty. I have them hanging in our apartment by the kitchen because I wanted them as well decor. I could also see them hanging nicely above the stove (but ours is tile, so I couldn't stick a push pin in the wall or something like that). The only thing is they're definitely made to be potholders because they're nice and thick. I almost wish they were made with decorative intent, so they would make more sense on the wall.

Very cute potholder!

I had to take a star away from this product because it is not actually the design that I had ordered - my potholder was supposed to say "Not Gonna Cook Itself," but instead I received "Lovin' From The Oven." The reason I only took away one star is because, well, I love it! I think the design, while not being what I expected, is still really adorable. I know that this might be a bigger deal to other buyers though, so keep it in mind! In terms of the actual product, the quality of the printing on both the front and back of the potholder is really nice. The overall construction of it is great too, with no lazy stitching or frayed edges. The design on the back, but not on the front, is printed in a grippy, silicone-like material. I really enjoy having this on just one side, as there are times I use both gripping and non-gripping potholders for cooking. The product is cute and well-made. While it doesn't matter much to me that it is the wrong design, it is important for other potential buyers to be aware of potential switch-ups.

Blocks heat and amuses me = win/win

This is a funny and well-made pot holder. I enjoy the humor and I had my eye on it for quite a while before requesting it. The construction is good and it prevents burning very nicely. The design is eye-catching and a nice focal point in the kitchen, too. Recommended.

Really cute

These are super cute and functional. I have three of them, and these are two I have up on my fridge. The backs have that silicone backing, and the front, shown here, has the really cute embroidery. My only complaint is that after washing, the material is slightly wrinkle looking because the top and bottom dry differently (I line dried mine). I still really like them, though.

Not What I Ordered, But I Love It!!

I ordered another Fred and Friends Stitches Potholder, my third one. I love these potholders and they are just too cute not to have at least three of them. I ordered "Not Gonna Cook Itself" but received "From the Oven With Love". I adore the "From the Oven With Love" so I gave them the full five stars with great joy. These potholders have actual counted cross stitch on the white front. The back, in beige, is the temperature protection of the potholder and it even has embossed cross stitches on it!!! They are just adorable, and that is why I keep ordering them. I wish they had an option to order them in sets. They all have loops at the top so you can hang them, which you'll want to do as they are pieces of art!! Yes, I HIGHLY recommend these Fred and Friends Stitches Potholders. I know you'll love them as much as I do!!

My Potholder Said Something Else

Rather than the saucy phrase,"It's Not Gonna Cook Itself," my potholder said "Loving From the Oven," which is a much more grandmotherly statement. This potholder looked as if it was handmade, embroidered by someone who loves me. It's just the right thickness: I don't get burned, and the potholder is not so thick I can't handle it. It has a magnet in the little loop at the top, so it goes right on my oven door, in a perfectly handy spot. I think that a couple of these potholders would make a great gift for someone who cooks, or even someone who doesn't cook, but doesn't want to get burnt taking dinner out of the microwave.
