Just the right size.
When I make a pumpkin pie, there is always some filling left over that goes to waste. Now I use it to make a small pie for later.

The size I needed
These were the exact size I needed. I feel the price is a little high for the quality of the pans but they will get the job done.

I didn't realize these would rust.
These worked great for some mini pies my daughter was making, but I didn't realize they would rust. I left them soaking before cleaning. Now they have rust spots.

Criticism of this pie tin reflects ignorance.
I have been baking pies (family and professional) for about sixty years. Much of the criticism of this tin reflects plain ignorance. Size: It is normal and usual to measure pie pans and many other baking "containers" from outside rim to outside rim. Describing it as a seven-inch pan is correct, not trickery. That is the traditional industry standard. Sorry so many of you didn't know that. Rust: well of course it rusts. Why do you think steel is coated with tin? Any time you scratch it (eg when slicing through the crust with a sharp knife), steel will be exposed, and it will rust there. ALL tin-coated steel pans do that. Deal with it! Treat it as gently as you reasonably can; do not expect it to sit in a humid dishwasher without reacting. (A little bit of rust won't hurt you, anyway! Think of it as a delicious way to add iron to your diet.) This is an excellent quality product from a reputable company. Don't blame them because you didn't know the realities. Is it a good value? Hmmm, it's a really good product. Sure wish I'd found it at a thrift shop, though! ps. It baked a perfect lemon meringue pie for Christmas dinner. It's a useful size for 2 super-sized servings or 4 more reasonable ones. Conveniently, it holds exactly half the quantity of a 9-inch pie pan, which makes adapting recipes easy. Candidly, I do wish someone made a 7 1/2 - inch pan, which might be even more suitable for our two-person household, but... Bottom line: I'm glad I bought it and would do so again.

Cute
These little tart pans make a very cute pie for presentation at a gathering. It creates a perfect size for just a small taste of a dessert when making a variety of choices for family and friends. I made a paper circle template to use to shape the pie crust for a perfect fit and will store the template in a bag with the pie tins for future use.

Great plate, but little pricy
Exactly as I would expect for a pie plate. It’s a hard size to find!!! Wish the price was more affordable though

Nice size but they rust
Love the size of these but they are very expensive and don't put them in water, they quickly rust. I quickly clean them with as little water as possible and dry well before storing them. Too bad they didn't rust. That's the only fault!

Rust magnet.
This bakeware is not coated in any way, and rusts with any kind of moisture. Tried to season them. Didn't take well. Looks bad, smells metallic. So cheap I didn't bother to return them.
