Easy to clean. I bought two and that seems to be a good amount to fill the entire pie dish. There probably won't be enough if you just buy 1

What storage container?
These are nice pie weights. I purchased two of the 11oz packages and only needed one package to weight a 9-inch crust. They are clay, so they come a little dusty, but all you have to do is rinse them off in a sieve. However, the description says it comes with a reusable container. Mine definitely were not delivered with a reusable container. So the product works well, but I did not receive a component of what I paid for. Knocked down two stars for not including key advertised item. Edit: I contacted Amazon customer service regarding the missing containers, and they took VERY good care of me in terms of fixing things up. Kudos to them! I noticed in other reviews that others did not receive the advertised containers, so if this happens to you, I suggest contacting Amazon. However, since they are advertising a container that doesn't seem to exist, I'm leaving my original review and 3-star rating.

No "convenient container" as stated!
I purchased the Fox Run pie weights instead of others because of the "convenient container" promised in the description. I received a flimsy plastic bag stapled to a folded cardboard hanger. The directions state: "Cool and remove weights after baking, wash, and store in this convenient container." I bought the 11 oz.but it looks like I'll need more weights. Will try them this week and update my review.

Good product, not quite enough to do the job
I like the product, but it seems there are not quite enough weights to cover the bottom of a 9" pie, as pictured. The photo is also misleading, as you should put the pie weights on parchment and then place both weights and parchment into the pie to blind bake. They work fine. No problems with shipping.

No bubbles or shrinking sides
I had never used these before. I have tried beans and foil, but it was not worth the beans! I was pleasantly surprised when my crust stayed in shape and lightly browned like I wanted it. Wish I had bought them years ago. I did order a second package because I usually make pies two at a time.

Product Works Great!
I bought these to use for baking a pumpkin pie crust and they worked perfectly to keep the crust from bubbling/puffing up.

Good product but not enough to fill a pie tin
These were a great product but I highly recommend ordering a larger size. Eleven ounces will only fill a pie tin 2/3 full and this is not ideal. Order a bigger size or double the 11 oz. portion and you'll be satisfied.

As advertised
Pie weights work great and cool down quickly. 11 oz is really a bit to little for some of the pies I make, but that isn't the fault of the product, since it is clearly advertised.

Works good, I wish I bought bigger package
Works great on pie shells, but for my 10" diameter round pie dish it is not enough. I wish I bought at least double the amount of these weights.

As expected
These ceramic weights work great. Just put these into the shells before they go in the oven. A bit tricky to get out of the shell after it is pre-cooked, but totally do-able

Works great - retains heat well - no clean up needed
When you want to blind bake a pie crust, to be used later, it is always a challenge to prvent the bottom from cracking or rising. These little pie weights take care of that problem. Just place some parchment paper on the bottom of the raw pie crusrt and fill the pie crust to at least half way up. I actually bought 4 of these packages , which fit nicely in a quart jar, so that I can either do one deep pie crust or 2 standard height 10 inch pie crusts. Then when the pie crust is done I just lift these out using the archment paper and put the crust back in the oven for 5 minutes to brown the base. These little dickens retain their heat, so be carefull about grabbing them right after you remove them from the oven. Let them sit for half an hour and then they should be okay to handle. These are a great product, a real bakers helper.

Does the job!
Does the trick, I would order two sets next time to comfortably fill a pie crust since there aren’t many in the bag and one bag wasn’t enough.
