Just What I was Looking For

I got these as part of a Minions costume for a school function. They looked great! They aren't as cheap as you might think for a costume piece. Very well made.

Fantastic, customizable goggles

These are great goggles, and this is by far the best price I have found. The lense caps screw off so you can add colored gels between the plastic lenses if you'd like, and all the parts come apart nicely if you want to customize them. I glued the heads from brads (the things that hold papers together) around the edge to look like rivets, painted it with black enamel, then waxed it to look older and distressed. I also popped the side pieces off and glued small pieces of leather there, which ended up looking great. The elastic strap that holds them on your head is adjustable, long enough for even the biggest head, and will fit around a hat with no problem. I spent $6 on the supplies to modify them, but they looked way better than the $15 and $20 fancier goggles that still look like molded plastic.

Costume quality, but great for the price. I have a smaller head than most adults, so I had to run a stitch through the strap to make it fit better, but it's just simple elastic so it was still worth the purchase.

Cool Product

The goggles look great and go great with my all black steam punk outfit. The only thing that I found to be wrong with them is that the bridge between the glasses are plastic and don't leave a lot of room for forming to your face, but they fit fine even if they don't have a lot of bend room. The goggles are all plastic with an elastic headband to keep it on.

Great item

Bought these for a cosplay and they worked well. They're plastic and light weight so if you plan on wearing them around your neck or on top of a hat it looks nice. I wouldn't recommend wearing them as actual goggles though.

Perfect starter costume goggles

I wanted to start up a basic Steampunk outfit on a tight budget, and these goggle are just right for the job. The are light, making them good for strapping to a hat all day, with a an easily adjustable elastic strap. They probably wouldn't be comfortable on the face for long periods, but the tint would help on a bright day. Another plus is, at the price, they're good for experimenting, for painting or modifying. Better to mess up on these than something more expensive.

They did the job they were supposed to

I bought these for my sons costume for halloween. They were ok but my son is 3 so I had to glue the nose piece to make it the correct size for him and shorten the size of the headband. Typical modifications when dealing with one size fits all. They did come a bit later than the rest of the items I ordered for the costume on the same day, so not sure what took the extra couple of days, otherwise they did the job.
