When I opened it loose feathers where flying everywhere. Was not holding ti the rope it was attached to.

Naked hot pink chicken string.
I do not normally write reviews about products purchased on Amazon, but the quality of this product was atrocious. So much so that minutes after opening the package, I logged on to write this and print the return receipt. The so called pink boa that I bought for a dear friend's celebration of life was so poorly constructed. It came in a plastic cellophane wrapper and as soon as I opened it, feathers and their broken vanes burst all over my floor. The construction was so appaling it basically looked like a sad string with a pathetic attempt at weaving in feathers. The rope (yes ROPE) in the center of the boa is exposed throughout and very unattractive. Every time I touch this wretched pink mass, more feathers fall off. I'm not sure if this is because of the use of real? feathers? or the manner in which this was created.. but this was definitely not what I expected to receive, definitely not as pictured, and I do not recommend the purchase. It might be a good gag gift if you want to cover a friend (or enemy?) in horrible bits of annoying feathers ... perhaps in a dark environment where lots of alcohol will be consumed. The only positive is that it is in fact hot pink. I just wish it didn't look like a tortured a hot pink chicken of some sort in my room.
