We love to fondue, perfect pots

My family loves to fondue, we now have about 15 of these pots and still need about 5 more. I hate that they have gone up almost 13.00 each. We had been getting them for 25 each, now 38 :(. Otherwise, love love love them

Thick Cast Iron and Sturdy Stand

Great product. Bought for hot oil fondue, and due to the very hot contents, wanted a heavy pot, to hold the heat in, and a stable stand as well. This met my expectations on both. It's very sturdy, thick enough iron to hold the heat for effective frying on the table, and the stand is stable and strong. The stand also allows enough room to refill the burner if need be, which was a con for some other pots I looked at. One note: If you plan to use it for hot oil fondue, I suggest you heat the oil (peanut is best, for it's high smoke point) in the pot itself on the oven, starting with a low flame, and after about ten minutes cranking up to high. This not only heats the oil, but also the container. For three diners, it held the heat for about 30-40 minutes.

Great product, I bought two!

This was my first fondue set and i actually bought two, one to make cheese fondue in and one to make chocolate fondue. I've used it twice already, I highlyy recommend it.

Hot Falling Plaque And Dripping Glue...

We purchased two of the black 10 piece model (cast iron) of this fondue set for a party we were having. Although it did the job fine be warned that the "fondue" brass plaque that is featured on the side is glued on. Once the pot is heated the glue melts making the hot plaque fall off onto the table, then the melted glue will continue dripping down the side of the pot into the flame permeating the air with a burnt chemical smell. It is obvious that this product was not tested before going to market but on the bright side, the plaque is (in my opinion) ugly so the fondue pot looks better without it. FYI: After the pot cooled down I managed to get the remaining glue off by using a blow torch to heat up the glue then wiping it off with an old rag.

Good product, easy to use

Good product, easy to use, keeps cheese warm, only noticed opening on alcohol sterno area should be a bit smaller, burned bottom of cheese even on low
