Works great for making your day a little easier :D
No one ever wants to talk about items like this, but hey - we all have to do it sometime! When you have to go but can't use a bathroom for health or accident reasons, then you'll want these bags to line your commode. I had a broken ankle and wasn't exactly bedridden, but I could not get around easily. I shuddered at the thought of using a commode, but these bags made it so easy to get the waste out of the commode. It also made it easier for people to take care of the waste. If you need it, these are the way to ... um, go! XD

Reliable & fast delivery, quality product, easy, sanitary toilet liner
Reliable & fast delivery; quality product; easy and sanitary to use. Liners are in a tear-off roll shipped in boxes of 12. Absorbent gel liner absorbs very well. Bag fits over commode bucket with plenty of room to pull down over the outside, making for sanitary removal (even without gloves). Pull-top band closes up the bag. How to use: Lift up the seat &lid, open up the bag fully and place it over the bucket with the gel pad in the bottom. Stretch the rest of the bag over the bucket and its handle, so that the rest of the bag is on the outside. Pull down the toilet seat. For the time it will be used, we leave the lid up to reduce the amount of thinking needed before each use. Ours is only used at night, so each morning we remove the bag, put in a new one, and move the commode out of sight to respect the privacy of our family member after she gets up. If you are new to bedside commodes, there is a bucket with a handle that sits below a toilet seat and lid. This all fits into a very stable frame with side safety arms like a chair. Each night we put it by the foot of the bed on the side the sleeper sleeps on, so that it faces the head of the bed. This way, the user can stand up, turn just a bit, and sit down. We put the user's walker facing the bed and a few feet away, just enough to use to steady her, if needed while turning. What a blessing for those who are helping those in need!

THEY WORK GREAT WITH ONE EXCEPTION
These liners work great at a good price with one exception. There are a couple of complaints that the liners leak. The first one that I used also leaked. I examined the next few liners and sure enough, at the very bottom corner there was a tiny hole created during the manufacturing heat sealing process. I now check the bag at the bottom corners and if there is a tiny hole I wrap a short piece of Scotch transparent mending tape around the corner. I leave the roll of tape next to the commode and the process takes about 30 seconds. I have used about 25 liners and have had to tape about 5 of them and they were all at the beginning of the first roll. All in all, they are fine and the price is much less than the other bags listed. I will continue to use these liners.

The changed thses bags
The bags seem thinner and more transpare t. It is hard to locate the blue drawstring ties which is the last thing you want when disposing of excrement. This change has me seeking another brand. I have been using these for over 2 years. This is very disappointing

WONDERFUL PRODUCT, BUT LEAKS
I use these every day for my mother-in-law in her portable toilet. I first noticed the leaking when I went to change one of the liners. I pulled the draw-strings closed while the liner was in the toilet bucket, resting on the bottom. When I lifted it up to put in the trash can, it leaked all over my carpet. Additionally, the toilet bucket was wet. I cleaned the carpet and the bucket and hoped it would be an isolated incident. When I inspected the bags, I wondered if maybe I had strained the seam along the sides of the bag when I tore it from the roll. From then on, I made sure to tear the liners apart VERY CAREFULLY at the perforation, but the leakage still occurred. The bucket was still wet and the bags still leaked. The very purpose of the liners is so that I don't have to clean the bucket every time. In my opinion, in order to remedy the problem, the seal needs to be farther from the perforation and it needs to have a wider and tighter seal. As a secondary protection from leaks, there should be two parallel seals instead of one.

Clean and Easy
My wife suffered a severely fractured hip and spent 6 weeks following surgery recovering enough to come home. But a trip from bed to the bedroom loo would not do, so a bedside commode was necessary. I reviewed several different products that were in use at the hospital and rehab unit with nursing staff prior to settling on the Medline Bedside Gel liners. It was their consensus that this was the most accommodating and obourless of the available products. So, in anticipation of an unpleasant siege, I ordered a case of 72 -- and good it was that I did. These were very easy to use, indeed odourless and quite good at deliquification. Closure worked quite well as there was enough of the blue tie to bend over the top of the liner and tie it tightly sealed so that it could go out with the trash each week without spillage. No, I did not buy any other product to compare this with. It works as described, and that's much better than all to many products nowadays!

Good product
These are very good and work very well. Bought them when my husband was unexpectedly diagnosed as terminal. I put them in the commode and it was so easy to clean. They are a bit pricey but they work!

Liners Missing absorbent pads!
In one of the boxes there seems to be a problem with the liners missing the absorbent pad. This is causing me to cut the pads in half in order to use them in the empty bags.
