Excellent camping/sleepover mattress

These are excellent alternatives to air mattresses for weeklong camping trips (not backpacking because they are not small nor light). They don't slip and are firm enough for a 200 lb. person to be able to sleep comfortably. They also make convenient mattresses for kids' sleepovers. Throw a twin sheet on them and toss them on the floor and the kids love them. They will attract dirt and won't stay white for long! I recommend opening them and airing them out for a few days on a porch or other space with good ventilation to allow them to offgas so they won't have that new-foam smell.

Soft but firm but soft

We needed something to raise the front of the couch cushions a couple of inches. It was just too low and with the couch cushions squished down, it was hard to get out of for our 80 year old bodies. We put this 3" pad under the slip cover between the frame and the seat cushions and suddenly - we could get on and off the couch without help. Maybe not your standard application, but worked great. BTW - I cut it down to 60" using a serrated sharp kitchen knife along a metal straight edge (with cardboard underneath to protect the floor). Only took a couple of swipes to cut the pad neatly in a straight line.

Works well on old couch

This stuff is pretty good. I put one 2" layer on one side of my seat cushions of my old couch. It's pretty firm. It would be nice if it was a little softer, but it's comfortable. I ended up putting it foam side down so it's still offering support and cushion but the original cushion is on top which has a little more give. It has no smell at all which I was really happy about. The 2" thickness is pretty easy to cut with a good pair of strong scissors. I did not need to glue it or anything. I just placed it on top of the cushion under the slip cover and put the slip cover back on which took some effort but was not too hard. My family was really excited about having a comfy couch again. It's hard to get rid of your old couch when your first born was born on it.... When he moves out, he's taking it with him.

Best quality for the price

After searching for a replacement cushion for my couch, I stumbled upon this precut foam. It worked perfectly and is very soft yet firm enough to sit on and hold its shape.

Exactly what I was looking for to line my dog's crate

This was the perfect width dimension for lining my dog's crate, and the length was perfect for cutting in half to make 2. However my young lab (18 months) decided to chew it all up and made a MESS. Destroyed it. Oh well, I will save the other half for when she grows up a little and can appreciate what I bought for her LOL

good firmness

I couldn't believe what a small package that this came in and I was very worried about how much it had been compressed. Well, wow!! Make sure that you are unrolling in an open area. It immediately popped up/out to the correct thickness. My husband has only been using it for a few days and likes the firmness of the product.

Perfect. Firm but not hard.

Great quality.

We replaced the cushions in our living room furniture. The foam was perfect! Thickness, price, sturdiness and easy to work with. Following unpacking the foam we let is sit overnight to remove any dents associated with packing. It cut very cleanly and nicely with the electric knife.

I can't wait to tell you about foamy!

I bought this to make a window seat for my beautiful dining room window. I was undecided between the medium and high density. I ended up going with high. I'm glad I did because it is quite squishy still (as other reviewers say). I put a picture of the thickness and of me squeezing it lol. Foamy was VERY easy to cut. I cut him with my plain serrated kitchen knife. I was kinda surprised at how easy it was to cut through him. What I did was I took some cardboard and placed it on my window sill then cut the cardboard to the shape of the window sill. Then I put the cardboard on foamy and traced the outline with a black marker. I flipped the cardboard and foamy and did the same on the other side, this was to ensure a straight cut. Overall I'm quite happy with the way the cut turned out, it's a little jagged but I'm covering it with fabric anyways so no one will know (I put a picture of how the cut turned out with a kitchen knife). One thing to note, foamy is VERY SENSITIVE! When I placed him in the window sill to see if he fit he accidentally clipped a christmas light hook I had on the window and a small chunk of him flew off :o!!! luckily it wasn't that big. Throughout the cutting process he did pick up a lot of cat hair and dust so I tried to vacuum him but that put some tiny holes in him gah!! I put a picture of what happened - so just make sure you are gentle with him! Anyways next step was I cut the fabric and sewed the pieces together. Once I had a nice cover I shoved him in and voila! An awesome comfy window seat for reading and watching the neighbours haha! I'm very happy with how it turned out and the seat is nice and plush. Also, I have a ton of foam left over so I am going to use it for some other projects. Next project idea: my husband keeps bonking his head on the door to the balcony. I will use some of foamy on the top of the door to cushion the blows. I was also thinking of making cute tiny pillows to put on my new larger window seat. I think it would be really funny and cute to have a bunch of small cushions of different sizes! And it sounds like a fun project. If I end up doing that I will post pictures of the little foamy babies I make.
