It Works!

I've tried 3 different dripper bottles for my crested gecko's tank to keep the humidity up. This one has worked the best. You do have to fiddle with the nozzle to get the dripping just right, but works well. Humidity is perfect now.

Only for emergency

I purchased as a dripping system for my 1yr old veiled chameleon, which it worked great for 2weeks then it just stopped dripping properly.. It’s ok for short term use while hunting a good misting system.

You get your moneys worth, but wouldn't buy again.

It does what its supposed to but in the most basic way possible. It transfers water from the container through a nozzle into a tube and then to the designated area. It comes with a small tube which in nice that you don't need to buy anything extra. The down side of this product is the way in which they put the components together. The nozzle isn't built into the container, its attached through a hole which causes leaking. Its only a couple drops every now and then but if you don't want water where it doesn't belong it becomes an issue. I did not return my item, even with the leaking. Instead I sealed it on my own. If you are okay with that kind of thing then go for it. If you are looking for a simple, cheap set up, this is great too. However this isn't something that will sustain purpose. I'll have to figure something else out that is more reliable. Overall, its cheap and does what I need.

Let me help you modify this to work fine

The size is great for our veiled chameleon but the valve is too temperamental and does not work consistently. I used the airline connector pictured (Top Fin brand) to replace the valve that came with it. I pushed the longer side of the valve into the plastic tubing at the hole and it fit without any need for a bonding material. Bonus: if you have Zoo Med Labs The Little Dripper these airline valves fit perfectly in the hole in the container as a complete replacement of the valve. I don’t use any external tubes for our cham (just drips from the valve on top of the cage), but that is easy enough to match up. Good luck!

Great product, would buy again

As other reviewers stated (and the description says), it's small. Only drips for a few hours before I have to refill it, however, it's worth it to me. We have a juvenile beardie who was suffering from dehydration, despite me spraying him twice a day. I read that they are unable to detect stagnant water. We bought him the dripper and now we frequently find him soaking in his water dish. It does leak ever so slightly from the hole where the green "dripper" comes out of the bottle but it's completely manageable. I was a little concerned about the suction cup being able to hold it securely even if the container was full, but it's holding beautifully. It would be a five star if it didn't have the minor leak.

Dripper Function

Could not control drip speed. I understand its a continuous drip but the speed was too fast.

Not the best.

Liked the idea of a smaller drip dispenser. This was very very poor. Broke on day two. Used epoxy resin to stick back in place. Valve adjustment also poor. It’s a shame. The principles design is good. It’s integration poor.
