Handy as extension piping

These are really versatile little tubes. You can use them for their primary purpose, to connect a faucet using a gasketed 3/8 inch connection on one side and a 3/8 inch compression fitting on the other, but I used them as extensions instead for a faucet whose integral supply lines were just two inches too short to reach the supply valves (drat!). The gasketed end I connected to the supply valve just as the faucet's line would have, but the compression end you can optionally use without the nut and ferrule and it becomes like the supply connection to the faucet line. Works great and the quality is good. I don't know why these aren't in stock at the local stores. None of them had them in; you have to request them online, and it might get there in a week! Not when I have Amazon Prime.

why aren't this sold at more places?!

Looked all over for this darn thang since my faucet hose is too short. Remove the ferrule nut and screw on one side to allow for a simple extension that connects the compression to compression 3/8" into the shutoff valve. Such a simple extension connector to not have everywhere! You literally can plug the male side of this cable into the female side of the same cable incase you don't fully get what this is.

Incorrect parts were shipped

Part of my order had incorrect fittings for a time sensitive project. Had to return. Best to get these from Home Depot where the folks are knowledgeable.

They do the job

These are like an extension cord for your lavatory cutoff valve. One end fits the valve outlet. The other end will connect to the hose coming from your faucet. In my case, the hose on our new faucet was one inch short of reaching the cutoff valve. Using these was an inexpensive solution, and much less trouble than moving the valve.

Extension for faucet hose

I needed this to extend the faucet connector hose to a hot water tank because the faucet hose was not long enough. This was an economical and high quality solution for this purpose. Nicely braided and no leaks after a month of use. I highly recommend.

Save my Day

Perfect extension to the short supply line that came with the bathroom faucet. These extensions helped to extend to the supply lines to the wall shutoff valve. I note most of the faucets come with short supply lines, when you try to install a modern 36 inch vanity in an old plumbing the supply lines are a bit short. In a previous occasion I replaced the supply lines to the faucet without knowing there were extensions that can be used at a much lower cost.

works as faucet hose to shutoff value extender

Thank goodness for this creation, helped me with my new faucet, it's attached hoses were to short to reach my shut off value. This male to female extender allowed the faucet to connect to the shutoff valve, no leaks, very easy to connect. I was in a jam and this product came to the rescue.
