Good quality, easy to install
I bought these because I wasn't sure I could get a wrench into the tight spot under the sink. The quality is good. You turn the grip wheel until you hear a loud click--on both ends despite what some others have said--and then you have set the proper torque. I found I had to put some force to get the click, so they go on tight. After the click, just like a gas cap, there is play, like a free quarter turn, if you turn it farther you can untighten it for removal. It works like a gas cap. No leaks, which is what I wanted, They are steel braided. I really wanted copper, but I could not find anything decent, and these work well. I measured the distance before purchasing and they fit really well. I did not use any good or tape, just screwed them on and that, so far, is that.

$4 extra buys you peace of mind!
As I said about the toilet hose, $4 extra buys you peace of mind about a hose that if installed incorrectly, could flood your home. It happened to my cousin, in an upstairs bathroom. Water came down the stairs before we noticed. The loud "click" means the hose is properly installed, by hand, no tools are needed! My only advice is to always use Teflon tape, and hold onto the pipe or valve very security, while slowly forcing that last 1/4 turn for the rewarding click sound. You're done. That's worth $4!

Why didn't they think of this sooner?
Works just as advertised and no leaks. I was installing a new faucet set and I always replace the supply lines at the same time. I am always worried about over-torquing the connections at the shutoff valves and possibly causing a break at the wall - but this eliminates the worry. Also, it is very fast to install - It took 15 minutes to remove the two old supplylines with a wrench and just two minutes to install these new 'click seal' lines by hand. Very pleased and will definitely buy again.
