Easy to install and gets the job done.
This came with all needed parts to install and use. The filter is easily changed. I have had this model in my old trailer and now in my motorhome. I have never had a problem.

Used for 3 summers
Bought in 2016 for my RV trips. I use 5 micron filters with mine and I have had no issues with water pressure or flow that I could blame on the filter system. I do not see any volume difference between flowing through the filter or without, which is more of a testament of the filter media rather than this filter housing. Regardless, I have not had any issues with leaks. You just have to have good hose washers on the in/out ports and also (VERY IMPORTANT!) have the internal O-ring gasket set correctly. My wife put it together once and it looked like a sprinkler. She never bothered to seat the gasket when she put the filter in. A 5 second fix, but I suspect this is what other have done, complained, and had no idea they even need the O-ring to seal it. On my 3rd summer using it and I have no doubt I broke even and thensome versus repeated buying the Camco disposable blue filters for RVs. And those are only 20 micron filtration!

Good simple filter for the price
Good value, appears to be good quality for the price. Mine came with a coconut shell carbon filter and a top mounting angle bracket. I am using it as a pre-filter for my portable DI unit and it bolted nicely right on to the DI roll away cart. I figured it might help the exchange resin last a little longer, the water in my area has a lot of sediment/minerals (650 tds) so any help is good. It almost seems like a waste to be using this as a sediment filter. The coconut charcoal filters are usually the final filter used in RO units to remove any taste caused by the pressurized storage bladder. They are more expensive than simple sediment filters.

leaks a little
There has been a lot of construction in our area lately. There has been a bit of sediment in the water coming in the mains. This looked like a good way to keep the garden emitters from clogging. The water pressure in my house is fairly high - I've seen it burst new garden hoses like balloons. Still, this is hard plastic and shouldn't have problems. The outlet connection on one of the units leaked a little, needed tightening, and the adapter may need replacing. It'd be nice if the threaded interfaces on these things could be brass instead of plastic. Otherwise, it's a very useful unit, I also got one for the RV; it hasn't leaked yet.

Excellent product
This small kit came with everything needed. Filter, canister, and tool to open. Not much to it! Water tastes much better and works perfectly. I have owned the Watts filters before, so I know they are good ;) The only think I needed was a small garden hose extension for my RV. I used it to connect from the spigot to the inlet portion. You may not need one though. Great quality, great shipping speed, and arrived in good condition.

Leaked from the moment we connected it.

Fitting broke on second use. Seems to work well for filter.
Fitting broke on second use. Will replace with copper instead of plastic (hope that works).

Easy to Use, Easy to Install, filter is great!
This is an must have for the Trailer water supply. You never know where you will be or the quality of the parks' potable water supply. It removes bacteria, bad taste and smells from the water, including but not limited to sulfur, heavy chlorine and other nastiness in the water supply. I am now confident to drink the water from the tap in the trailer with attached to the water supply coming into the trailer from the park's supply. It's easy to install, change the filer and drain when you are ready to move onto the next location. Definitely Recommend this filter system.

Filter cartrige is easy to get and replace
Filter cartrige is easy to get and replace. On my second season with this Housing. Very very satisfied. in one case this year when I unplugged all the water lines getting ready to leave a campsite I noticed red mud on the ground next to the filter. I opened up the housing and this filter was really doing it's job, it was full of mud in there and the only issue we had in the RV was that the water occasionally had a bit of a color hue to it. I can't imagine what my water heater and water lines would have had in them had I not had this filter. On the plus side, since the inner cartrige is easilly removable we were able to open it, rince it thorougly clean the housing and put it back in use at the next camp site. Had it been one of those throw away filters it would have remained clogged up and had to be replaced.

Great Product
We put some pretty scummy water through this thing and it comes out pristine. This year we will be pumping through 2 of them... Great product but it cannot tolerate being frozen - once it freezes hard water comes out of it like it got hit by a shotgun.
