Good price but rather large
To the one struggling to decide which ear plugs, I hope this helps. I spent hours, if not days, researching ear plugs on Amazon. I ended up with 8 different ones because, well, I’m indecisive. Many of these didn’t work for me due to my own weird ear anatomy but I wanted to give my experience with each and what I’d recommend given your situation. Everything is subjective, but I hope this helps someone else as the previous reviews helped me. I’ll put my quick summary first and the details after for those wanting more info. *The pink ear plug is an average run-of-the-mill ear plug for size comparison. To summarize: If you have shorter ear canals and more sensitive ears I would recommend Mack’s Thermafit, adult/kids silicone ear plugs, or Hearos Softstar foam. If you have average ear canals and want the most noise blocking I would get Howard Leight. If you prefer contoured earplugs and find them to be the most comfortable then get Flents Protech Contour. If you have very narrow (but not short) ear canals, then get Mack’s slim fit or Flents Protech Sleeping. White Hearos Softstar foam: These ear plugs are wider than most but shorter and the foam is very soft. They are comfortable and didn’t hurt my ears, even when laying on my side. The foam is so light and fluffy though it lets in more noise than other ear plugs. If comfort is most important to you, you’re a side sleeper, and you don’t need complete silence, these are for you. Tan Mack’s Thermafit: This was the last pack of ear plugs I ordered to try and I finally found the right ones for me. The foam expands more quickly and is a bit rougher texture than others but once you get it in your ear it is just as comfortable at the Hearos and blocks as much (if not more) noise as Howard Leights and silicone. If you have short ear canals, want something comfortable that blocks out the most noise, try Mack’s thermafit. Purple Mack’s Slim fit: I have somewhat smaller ear canals but these were too narrow for me. They didn’t block any sound and despite them being thin, they are still long. If you have very narrow ear canals that are an average length, these would be a good choice for you. Dark Green Howard Leight low pressure: Howard Leights are soft and I found that they blocked out the most sound out of all the ear plugs I tried. They are a bit long for my ears but I just have short ear canals. If you have average ear canals and want the most noise blocking ear plugs, I would recommend these. Light Green Flents Protech Contour: I like contour ear plugs because my ears are sensitive. These are pretty large ear plugs and not the best for those with small ears. They were the best price of all the earplugs I tried. If you have average-larger ear canals, are a side sleeper, or prefer contoured ear plugs, these are for you. Blue/White Flents Protech Sleeping: I thought these would be my Goldilocks ear plugs after I liked the regular Protech contour ones but found them to be too big. Well these were way too small. They fit in my ears easily but don’t block any noise, much like the slimfits. I can still hear the clock ticking, the traffic, my dog snoring everything. I’m so bummed! If you have tiny (and I mean tiny) ears and like the contoured foam, I would get these. Mack’s silicone ear plugs (orange kids and clear regular): As someone who generally hates having things deep in my ears, silicone ear plugs sounded like the way to go. I found the clear ones to be huge and I was having to cut them in half so I ended up getting the kids size. They are comfortable and are good for side sleeping. They also block out a lot of noise. My issue with these is that they tend to suction to your ear which is uncomfortable and you can hear your heart beating in your ears. I think it’s something you can get use to though. If you hate foam/regular ear plugs, have small or sensitive ears, and want to still block a lot of noise, I’d try these. Of all the ones I tried, I found Mack’s Theramfit to be the best all around. Happy sleeping!

they work! especially if you work night shift and have annoying neighbors.
I work overnight shifts 6pm/6am. well, for some unknown reason, my elderly neighbor has a bird feeder in his yard. now, in most places this isn't a issue. but I live in a coastal area. so, commencing EVERY MORNING at 615am (right after breakfast and im heading to bed) about 2,000 squawking seagulls decide to feast on the seed. tried every diplomatic avenue avalaible, to NO avail. so, in order to keep my sanity and get the rest i need, i ordered these. they are very comfortable, and don't fall out when i sleep. i tend to toss and turn. these in conjuction with air purifier and or window ac fan going, it drowns those 2,000 annoying creatures out enough in order for me to get some sleep. there is however, a CHANCE that he will be moving to assisted living home very soon, until then, this is the card i've been dealt and these things are nothing short of amazing. get them today, you won't be sorry. :)

The best I've found for sleep....
I live in a forest and at 6am, it goes crazy. I love nature, but there must be hundreds of birds that start chirping at the crack of dawn. On top of that, I'm an audio engineer. High pitched and sharp noises stick out to me unbearably. These solved that. (i sleep with one in each pocket so no matter what side im sleeping on, easy access!!) THe best feeling on earth: birds wake me up, I'm pissed, and then stuff a couple ear plugs in...and listen as the foam expands and ALL noise melts away. GONE. Back to sleep in 45 seconds. A LIFE SAVER. I think the extra surface area towards the outside of the ear plug rejects a lot of noise reflections. At first i thought, "whats with this awful shape?!" ....these folks know what theyre doing---THATS WHAT. Buy these and regain your early morning hours of sleep.

Best ear plugs I’ve ever used
When I received them I didn’t think they would work for me because they are so big but it’s not the case at all. I have smaller ears and have been looking for ones that I can wear for sleep and not have to feel so much pressure and pain from them. I’ve tried so many different brands, size, and shapes and have had no luck until I tried these ones. They are so soft and block out all noise. The top part is very wide so it helps to seal in the part that goes in the canal and blocks noises. My search for the perfect ones is finally over . I will be ordering more of these.

Won’t even hear the cops banging on the door.
Been wearing these while sleeping for years for various reasons. Last night I realized how good they really work. Someone trying to steal my catalytic converter from my car. Didn’t even hear the perps sawsall cutting the metal at 4:00 am. Neighbor saw what was happening and called the Cops. After a high speed pursuit that was terminated due to high speeds, Cops came back to my house and noticed I had cameras all over the outside. Cops were banging on my front door for 10 minutes wanting the footage. I never heard them or my dog barking like crazy. Highly recommend these earplugs because you won’t hear squat. Not hearing the smoke alarm might be an issue though :)

Hmmm
These seem solid and if you're lucky enough to get them in your ear properly they are great but they are not very mouldable so you roll it up but before you can get it properly fitted in your ear, it has expanded.

Jackpot!
Finally, a decent earplug that doesn't fall out during the night, or hurt your ears, and actually does what it's supposed to do. I live in a noisy area, especially at night time (i live near bars and pubs) These earplugs are the reason I am still sane lol. Cancels out all the background noises, yet still allows me to be woken up by my alarm in the morning. I'd recommend these to anyone and everyone.

Best Earplugs
These earplugs are superb for cancelling out unwanted snoring. If you get them inserted correctly they will give you a totally quiet night and you probably won't hear your alarm either! 9 times out of 10 they go in correctly but occasionally they don't seat properly but you just have to remove, compress and re-insert right up to the flared end.

Best ones I've used
Now I've only tried two other styles, both from a different brand, but so far... These are FAR more comfortable - they don't make my ears HURT like the others used to, and when I take them out I am surprised that there is someone snoring next to me, or the stupid parrot in the other room is squawking still! I wish my left ear canal was the same as my right, it makes putting these things in difficult because it never really wants to fit... so if you're like me (apparently it's common) just know these don't make THAT aspect any easier as they do expand pretty rapidly once compressed to fit into your ear. Regardless, best sound blocking I've come across yet, and very comfortable!

Better than orange pharmacy foam, customer for life
Simply, I was looking for ear plugs similar to the pharmacy orange foam ones, but more affordable. I’ve tried 4 different ones that state 32-38dB, but that was all lies!! This however, turned out to be EVEN BETTER, and more comfortable (I think due to the curve).. I have never slept better next to hubby snoring my ear off, DIDN’T HEAR ONE PEEP out of him :):):) I’m a customer for life and will buy these FOREVER!!
