Works great
Does what I wanted. For one standard card stock at a time only. Using it to upcycle cards. Looking forward to many years of crafting.

Makes sharp cutouts and is very easy to use.
This cutter works great for punching hexies out of card stock or heavy paper. Some reviews complained that is wouldn’t cut but I have had no problems at all. Maybe they were trying to cut cardboard that was too heavy. Mine works very well and I would purchase it again. I am very happy with this product.

Has trouble cutting cleanly
I’ll start by saying that I was happy to find this X-Large Hexagon on Amazon because several brick and mortar craft stores told me it was discontinued. I teach middle school and need the hexagons for an activity with my students. I already owned a Large cutter (1.5”), but it is just a bit too small. The 2” X-Large seems a better size for my students’ needs. When the X-Large one arrived, I notice immediately that it has trouble cutting cleanly. I did not have this issue with the Large size. I see in reviews that other customers had the same problem. The ragged edges don’t matter terribly for my purpose, but they might be an issue if you are creating a scrapbook or other project where the aesthetics are a big deal.

EPP Hexagon Quickie
Very happy with the cutter to make my own hexagons for EPP projects. Handles well and found using old file folders was my best choice for repurposing materials to cut. Pretty sure the paper weight causes some VERY MINOR dimples in the corners-aside from that this is a fantastic tool for this type of quick project work

English Paper Piecing
I do English Paper Piecing as well. This is perfect for the needs of someone like me. I have punched cardstock but my favorite item to punch out is the free cards that seem to drip from any given magazine. I can get six hexies out of a single card as a rule. Sometimes bigger cards will yield more & the cost of the hexies is great! LOL I say that after just using the "cardboard" insert in some online clothing I bought. It worked well on the first piece but couldn't get thru the second piece. If it doesn't punch with minimal pressure, do not force it. You will break the punch. Now I'm on my third order for one of these. One lady in Guild with me bought my first one because she couldn't wait for me to order one for her. The second disappeared when my daughter left after her vacation at home. Maybe I'll get to keep this one! BTW: Be sure to use a regular 1/4" inch paper punch to punch a hole in the center of each hexie so you can remove it from the fabric once it's sewn in place. (You'll need a fancy expensive quilting tool called a cuticle stick to pop them out of the fabric.) I like the Crop-A-Dial punch sold here at Amazon because I can do more than one at a time. I do about 5 or 6.. I'm going with an order for the third one of those for the same reasons listed above. Also note that Accuquilt (on Amazon) makes a die that cuts fabric into hexies with a 1/4" seam allowance. They fold around these paper hexies just fine. Much less hand cutting and EVERYTHING is completely accurate. The die will fit the Go! Baby as well as the larger machines.

Works Great
I bought this and 1200 of the pre-cut 1" hexagons for a quilt. The cutter worked so great, I am returning the hexagons as they cost twice as much as the cutter. I was able to punch out over 500 of these in less than half an hour. I tried it with standard 65lb card stock first and was very easy to punch. I then tried the glossy mail card election adds I had been saving. It still worked great, but found I had to hold down on the white ring on the top for those. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I'll have to wait and see how many I can cut out all together. It's already paid for itself in comparison to the pre-cuts, so even if I have to buy a second one after another 500 or so...still worth the money.

Pretty good
It works fine for my purposes which is to make 1inch (2 in cross wides part) English paper pieces. It’s a real time saver. Works best on 16lb paper, which is too thin for me, the edges get a little ragged on 24lb, but doesn’t affect my pieces. The edges are smoother on 67lb card stock, but it starts to get difficult to punch.

Good tool
Fast delivery.Easy to use. Perfect for the project I have in mind. The only downside is that with paper the cutter tends to not cut cleanly, better for thin card!

High quality, sharp punch
I only fold paper in half and find it punches 2 at a time very easily. Fun to use, super sharp and creates perfect edges. I purchased to use it for paper piecing for quilting and needed to make lots of hexagons. I think purchasing the punch is more economical than purchasing pre-punched shapes.

Excellent
This cutter works well on paper and LIGHT card. Needing many hexagons for a quilt, it has paid for itself rather than buying ready cut shapes.

Perfect for quilting
Works great - using the cut outs for english paper piecing and I can turn all of my random flyers into new quilts
