A rockhound's dream tool.

I am a rockhound, through and through. This 18" tool was just recently stolen from me, but I was able to use it for 5 months. I plan to buy the 30" shortly to replace the stolen 18". With it, i have smashed countless rocks. I would be surprised it the number was not in the 10's of thousands range by now. I've delicately opened geodes with it and I've also demo'd off hefty chunks of raw material from boulders. It is a tough, well balanced and weighted, versatile tool. I do wish I had more prying power... that's why I am buying the 30" next time. Some of the geodes comes from slabs of stone that are many hundreds of pounds. The 18" couldn't always leverage its way to victory. I feel the extra length of the 30" will make my life easier, more capable, while still only carrying one tool in the field. Of course there's a time and place for the accuracy of a hammer and chisel... but thats fine work... this is a demo tool, and a beast of one at that.

Super handy

This tool is surprisingly handy. It was designed amazingly well, and it has exceeded my expectations in all capacities. I have used it as a tile chipper, pry bar, and of course a hammer. I was surprised to see that it held my weight without cracking or deforming when using it as a pry bar. My only qualm is that it is a smooth face hammer, and I would have preferred a waffle texture- but that was easily remedied with 5 minutes and a cutoff wheel. If you buy this, be prepared to show it off around the jobsite- people will be excited to see it and hold it.

Feels good and heavy in the hand, so pay attention to it's weight.

I have no dislikes with this product. As a pry bar and nail puller you can't go wrong. The versatility of hammer head with pry tip give you a good advantage over carrying both. The solid metal tang construction is important for stolid durability during use. And the comfort grip absorbs impact shock extremely well. And for all you heavy duty survivalists out there.. if you can take it, it will break it!
