Well built but comes with scratches

It seems very well built and the lid fits snug, but there are several scraps and scuffs - no horrible - like if your sunglasses gets scratches from being on your pocket.

Perfect for Beauty and the Beast Inspired Crafts

I purchased this to make a Belle-inspired accent for my daughter's princess room. She is only 3, so I did not want to use one of the easier to find glass cloches on the market and risk it breaking. This was the only acrylic alternative I found and I'm glad I did. It is thick and sturdy but also crystal clear. The base snaps on securely. I would recommend this dome!

Comes with Scuff Scratches

As shown in photo, there are circular scuff-scratches along the circumference of the container at many places; as if it was rolled along. These make the plastic opaque-ish in places, and rather ruin the purpose of a display container. It arrived inside of a clear plastic cellophane-like loose bag inside a box. It may have received the scuff scratches in transit (?). It is possible to scuff up plastic like this very easily, so the packaging itself (as the item moved around inside of it) could have caused the problem. Or it may be in manufacturing; or in earlier transit of the piece. In any case, it is something that the manufacturer, shipper, and handling crews of the item could figure out and rectify. Note that it is not Amazon's fault, as the item arrives in its own box within an Amazon box. Had I seen this at a thrift store, I may have purchased it for a dollar; but only if I knew that the lighting conditions that I would be using it in would not accentuate the scratches.

Decent

Decent plastic cloche for the price. Worked for my art projects and it's very difficult to find glass ones like these for a good price. Scratches easily but would buy again.
