Buy for looks ONLY
Good price, good look, but very cheap and flimsy. Will rust upon any moisture. Paint peals just by being there.

Not bad, for the price
It should last a couple years but it's definitely not a long term firepit. The edge of the bowl was bent which probably happened during shipping but it's thin enough that I was able to bend it back in place by hand. The spark lid is also about 1/2" smaller in diameter than the lip it sits on around the inner edge of the bowl. The difference isn't big enough for the lid to fall in but it does slide around a lot. I don't plan to waste money on a cover because repeated use with extreme heat is likely to make it fail more quickly than the elements.

Loved it...but wasn't able to love it long enough -- Update!
I was pretty excited about this fire pit, it seemed to be an exceptional value for how large it is. However, I've learned that the rule of getting what you pay for is very hard to break--and this product is not an exception. I always thought the metal was very thin, but figured the makers knew what they were doing--until I was moving it today and noticed that the metal had already corroded through, creating a small hole in the base. I've owned this pit for about 9 months, and we've probably had 10 fires in it total. Our fires do tend to be pretty great, we go for 3-5 hours, but nothing bonfire-like. I haven't scrubbed at the surface at all, the only cleaning has been tipping it sideways over a trash can to empty the ashes. It has been kept in an enclosed garage. We typically let the fire die out, but used a small amount of water/stirring to help a few times. Bottom grate always in place during use. In my opinion, something like this should last much longer than the use I've put it through. 3 stars for a product that served it's purpose, but not nearly as long as it should have. I'll be contacting the manufacturer about potential warranties. Update: I contacted Fire Sense, and while their communication wasn't perfect, they did solve the issue without much trouble. I ended up having to send two emails before I got a response, for some reason. I roughly echoed what I've said in this review, and asked if I was covered under warranty somehow. They said that they couldn't confirm if the pit was mishandled, and as a result this would be a one-time thing, but they immediately shipped me a replacement! As I mentioned, it wasn't perfect communication...I did have to send two emails, they weren't always very clear and I had to follow up with them, but it ultimately wasn't much hassle to receive a brand new replacement (bowl only) at no charge whatsoever to myself. I'm happy, and have increased my rating by a star to reflect an overall satisfactory experience between the fire pit and accompanying customer service. Another update: I'm having to keep the pit outdoors now, so I bought the Classic Accessories 44-inch cover. It's a hair tight on this fire pit with the mesh fire screen in place (I'm skeptical about it being able to cover a 44" pit!), but it definitely protects the bowl from the elements, looks pretty nice.

Not heavy duty but very nice looking and effective
This is a really nice looking fire pit. A bit larger than many others, easy to assemble and works well. As others have noted, it is not what you would call heavy duty being stamped from relatively thing gauge metal. I do think many buyers would opt for a "heavy duty" option if that were offered. To extend longevity I did two things before using it. 1. Drill 2-4 small holes in the bottom of the bowel. This will prevent water from sitting in there after it rains. Obviously, if you are using it on a wooden deck or other potentially flammable surface you should NOT do this. 2. Buy a can of high temp spray paint like that used for BBQ grills. I liberally coated the bowel on both sides (did not do the rim or the legs but did spray the screen and the screen lift tool), The good news is that even if you get only a couple years use out of it, the cost is low enough that replacing is not the end of the world.

Nice!
I bought this to go inside of a fire pit I built out of 48 retaining wall blocks about 3-4 years ago. It’s still holding up, though the screen has taken a beating and is seriously deformed from fire. I only use the screen to keep embers from flying out so no bid deal. It still works. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the bowl so that water wouldn’t accumulate in it. I can’t speak to the sturdiness of the legs because I tossed them because I just needed the bowl and screen.

Good deal for the price. Great customer service
This is a pretty nice, large fire pit for the price. My first pit arrived damaged from transit. I contacted the company directly and sent them a few pictures. They said they were sending me a new one. The new one arrived even more damaged than the first but i was able to use parts from both to create a decent finished product. Both damaged pits were not their fault, UPS must drop kick these friggin things. I do think they could use better packaging, but they sent me replacement immediately. Overall a great deal for the price and it looks really nice.

The BEST fire pit
This was SO easy to assemble - it took me 3 minutes and I was on the beach doing it. It is light weight to carry to/from the beach for bonfires. It has elevated beach nights and outdoor gatherings. Highly recommend.

Needs a drain hole
This is a good basic, sturdy firepit so far. Reasonably easy to assemble. Decent size. Does the job. The problem, and it's actually a huge oversight, is that it does not have a drainage hole at the bottom, which makes it into a potential birdbath/mosquito lair if you're not careful.

Poor product.
I had lots of problems with this one. It was scratched, parts were missing, it is flimsy, rusted immediately after first use, still has a strange smell about it, but you can still make a fire in it, so that's why not 1 star.

Not recommended
It was easy to assemble, lightweight to move around, but it didn't last long, just 3 small fires and it doesn't look like it is able to handle one more :( Also really bad packing, came bended on 2 sides

Mesurez l'hauteur a couvrir.
I thought this was suppose to be a terrace foyer, but sadly it is not. It even burn the grass which was under after one use. However it is pretty and works very well, easy to handle, I was able to lift it myself with my arthritis and all, and with the wood inside.
