Great Little Camping Fire Pit!

Love the size of this portable fire pit. It's not too heavy to pack in the Jeep or camper. The fire pit is sturdy, well designed, and we can't wait to start using it in May. Carefully packed and quickly shipped.

Perfect portable firepit for RV

I was a bit hesitant on getting this size but it was perfect for our RV. We just returned from camping in Florida and used it every night for fires and cooking. We also purchased the 30" fire pit mat for underneath so we didn't harm any of the brick pavers or wood deck. It folds up perfectly and goes in the firepit carry bag. Super easy set up. Cleans up nicely for storage. Totally recommend.

Customer Service was amazing

The product came as-advertized & I was pleased with it. However, there were stabilizing bolts & nuts missing from 2 of the legs it worked fine upon first use, but was a bit wobbly. Customer service quickly remedied the situation, and were very easy to work with. Awesome communication! Once the nuts & bolts came in, the wobble issue was gone. The ease of communication bumped this up to 5-stars

Like all of life, you get what you pay for.

I have been burning wood fires out doors since the Kennedy administration. This unit is as advertised. The price is modest so that helps you understand what you will receive. The base is a full 29 inches, but the flare of the edge provides only 24 inches of usable fire space. The gauge of the sheet metal (it’s thickness) is heavier than tin foil, but, for the intended use it would be nice if it were doubled. The metal will be adversely impacted mostly by water mixing with the ashes. While the fire burns water will be steamed away. To make this last you need to keep it dry. I drilled six large holes in the bottom to let water drain out. I also painted it with with hi-temp black paint. I purchased this for a ten day camping trip. But I would like to have it last three seasons. It cannot be left out of doors. Use it, clean it, and give dry storage. . The bottom grate helps air get under the fire. This is a good thing. The top grill is for cooking upon. It could only be used if a hardwood fire is allowed to reach the red coals stage. The coals would need to be raked/smoothed out with a poker to a depth of 2 or 3 inches. Then place the cooking grate over the low coals and cook your food. You would not be cooking over a wood fire, but over the coals of a dying hardwood fire. Skill level to achieve this is high. I would not suggest this for cooking unless you have experience. This unit is fine for a wood fire off the ground for folks to sit around in lawn chairs. . This was designed from the get-go to meet a price point in the market. It does that well. I only wanted a camp fire off the ground to be “legal” and safe. If this was for home use, I would expect to spend hundreds of dollars to be able to leave it out in all weather. This is for occasional use outdoors, then cleaned and store in dry environment. Moisture is the mortal enemy.

All in all...a serviceable, portable, occasional use, fire pit

Bought the 29” model for backyard fires at the cottage we rent for our annual week-long lake vacation. Overall fits the need. Construction is pretty flimsy, but for the price it is to be expected. A little scratched up from packing and transport, but nothing horrible. The legs are light and the hinges leave it pretty wobbly. (The legs do click into place nicely and the lock pins seem secure.) Although it moves and shimmies when bumped or touched, I do not think it would snap or fall over from normal use. It does stow compactly in its’ cheap but serviceable carrying bag which is ideal for transport for us to and from home. The pics show wear and tear after two 3 hour fires on successive nights. The inner wood grate did warp slightly from the heat and weight, and you can see a few discoloration/ rust spots from the loss of the paint on the grate and in the bowl. The metal of the bottom of the bowl is pretty thin and does flex when pressed. However, it does seem sturdy enough for occasional vacation / camping use. Final pic is a five log fire with 18” logs. I have chosen not to put the fire starters directly onto the grate because I don’t want that much heat that close to the flimsy bottom. The tool is too short to use a fire poker, but works just fine for spark arrester removal. It did comes with the cooking grate of the same quality, but I haven’t used it, and probably won’t. IMO, the whole thing is just a little too wobbly for cooking. It is short. I put it on some patio bricks I found in the back of the cottage rental property to give it a little more height. In summary, pretty cheap construction, but light, portable and very usable for our purpose. Cheers!

Everyone has room for this fire pit.

We live on a very small property.(downsized for retirement). One of the things I missed most from our old place was the beautiful fires we used to have in our backyard. This is so beautiful!!! You get that wood burning smell and enjoyment without having to store a lot of wood or giving up a large portion of your yard. This hangs on the wall in our small shed. Very satisfied!!!

P65 warning cause cancer MAJOR PROBLEM

This product has a P65 warning which can cause cancer or reproductive issues. They shouldn't even be allowed to sell this. So ridiculous, do not buy unless you want to gravely injure yourself. I returned mine for this reason.

En general no tengo queja del producto. Es justo como se describe en el anuncio. Lo que no me parece es que se venda como si fuera nuevo, y que la empresa no tenga cuidado en revisar los productos que salen de sus bodegas. No me interesa devolverlo, pues funciona bien, pero espero una compensación y por lo visto, no está esa opción lo cual es una pena.

Suben el costo

Funciona bien, pero yo estaba buscando la versión más grande. De un día para otro, le subieron mil pesos el costo, y ahora que compre esta (la versión de 22 pulgadas) y busco el costo actual, está mil pesos más cara de como yo la compré. Tengan eso en consideración.

Tamaño ideal

La opción de 29" tiene el tamaño ideal para una fogata que emite un calor decente. Es fácil de almacenar y de limpiar, y no se requiere mucho para su mantenimiento. Los accesorios son adecuados, aunque a pesar de venir con parrilla, nunca la utilizaría para cocinar, ya que no está diseñada para esto.

Flimsy and not 22" diameter it is about 19"

I was very excited to get this fire pit as we are having a end of season bbq coming up and we need something that can move around and not be permanent. I loved the idea of being able to fold it up neatly and put it away however its not sturdy. Legs and hinges are bent and not fitting correctly and the box was not damaged so it looks like its manufacture defect issues. I sent it back for a refund as it is not as described and damaged/ manufacture defects and not as described. It is NOT 22" cross diameter it is barely 19" when measured across the diameter of the pit bowl. Its small. Thank goodness I gave myself time before the bbq. I am just going to go to a store for this that way I can see the model ahead of time to know if its quality before purchasing.
