So happy to have found this! Value for money as it comes with 3 pieces. Best thing about it is that it fits our whirlpool UXT4236ADS2 which I wasn’t sure it would!

Fits Whirlpool UXT4030ADS1

When I moved into my new apartment, the installed filter was clogged with grease and the fire alarm went off whenever I fried something. Installing a clean one solved that problem :) I can confirm that this fitted a Whirlpool UXT4030ADS1. Some people think it's too thick. They might have bought the wrong size or they might not have figured out that the catch that holds it in place can be rotated 180 degrees to two different thicknesses of filter. This is the thicker size.

Great product for the Kitchen Overhead Fan

Great product for the Kitchen Overhead Fan. Charcoal filter lasts at least six months. The filter absorbs most of the cooking fumes and oil evaporations. This is definitely an "Upgrade" to the regular "Mess Filter" that comes with your Hood Fan. If you cook a lot of spicy food in your house and you do not have a vent opening to the outside this is the next best solution. Reasonably priced for three filters offered. Great Product that does the job as advertised.

Exactly as expected, great price.

I haven't tried other brands but these are adequate depending on how much grease-producing vapors you create . Easy to install and don't leak when full. Allow good air flow. Ii change mine maybe every 8 or 9 months and with the 3-pack, you've always got a back up.

charcoal filters do the job in the kitchen

Whirlpool W10355450 Charcoal Hood Filter replaced the aluminum mesh filter that originally came with the hood fan unit. The charcoal filter is a noticeable improvement and helps out in the kitchen when there is too much of good thing from all the cooking that is taking place.
