This works great. I was afraid it would be too small, but it's perfect

I have a long drop-in plug for my main bathroom sink. There is another sink, but it is mainly for my cat and I removed that plug long ago and put in one of those hair catcher ones. The problem with the one I had is it had four long ridges and gross things would grow on it, and I then had to clean it. Gag. I decided to get these for my two upstairs sinks. It looked way small when I got it out of the package, but it dropped in and looked so much nicer. I've only been using it for a few days, and I can see what looks like cat hair in it. I'll have to clean it with something. I don't want to use a q-tip because that is more plastic waste, but I'll figure out something. I ordered a rubber sink plug for the times I need to hold water in the sink. I am pleased with this because it seems (and looks) so much cleaner than what I had. I will put the other one in my cat sink soon.

Very small drain strainer

This drain strainer looked great and came superfast. Unfortunately, my drain is a little bigger, but will keep in case I have another drain. It was nicely priced.

Too small for a standard 1.25" sink drain, but can be bent enough to work

I more-or-less knew this was going to be just a touch too small to work. Which is odd, because I have what I believe to be an absolutely standard U.S. 1.25" drain line on my bathroom sink. That said, two minutes with a set of heavy-duty pliers, and I was able to expand the top opening enough to get it to work. The really odd thing is that, as far as I can tell, you literally cannot buy one of these for a standard 1.25" sink drain. So if you have that type of sink, and want this type of strainer, your only option is to do what I did. I take off a star here, not for anything the manufacturer did, but because of the ambiguity about whether or not this will work in a 1.25" drain. Mostly, it's for the commenters who absolutely assured you that it would work. So I absolutely assure you that it did not work, out of the box, in my 1.25" drain. But that you can, with a little effort, make it work. EDIT: After using this for a couple of days, I pulled it out and went with this product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08HL8WLF8 That's a pack of 25 translucent plastic disposable strainers. That strainer fits my 1.25" sink drain perfectly. It's almost invisible when its in place, and the rim is so thin that no water pools around it. This metal strainer did work, after I bent it up some. But it was going to be a pain to remove and clean. I was always going to have to worry whether it would drop into the pipe, given that it's actually too small for the 1.25" sink drain. Given how lazy I am about cleaning things like sink strainers, for me, the cheap disposable was the better choice.

It’s off by 1mm

Great for the price but it’s off by like a mm so we need a paper clip to take it out, can’t do it by hand.

It Works!

These fit our sink perfectly. While they do a great job keeping things from falling down the drain they do fill the sink up a little. Not a huge deal since I'm extremely satisfied with not loosing anything down the drain but something buyers might want to know. I would still recommend these.

Doesn't fix bathroom sink drain, too small

This came up in searches as fitting standard bathroom sink drain so I ordered it but it doesn't fit--too small and I've wasted my money. DON'T ORDER FOR A STANDARD BATHROOM SINK DRAIN. I believe this is sized for laundry sink drains.

DOESN'T FIT

I had read in reviews on Amazon.com that this didn't fit properly in the drain, but ignored them. Sure enough, it doesn't fit in my sink. Waste of money, do not buy. I have a standard Kohler sink.
