I've been in a furious panic: I ordered "Pack of 12": expecting 12x40=480 filters. I received a Pack of 1: 1x40=40 filters. This is very disappointing, massive increase in $/filter of course. I attempted to fix it on my phone, following the Amazon return/refund process, and hit a dead end a few times (product not returnable?). I really thought I was stuck with a $27 box of 40 filters. BUT! I tried again on the PC and it went through just fine. Returnless refund, happy me. As for the product, why use anything else? They're perfect. The coffee tastes great every time, the filters are durable enough for rinse and reuse if you want to fuss with that... thanks Melitta, thanks Amazon.

Good as they get.

Simply put there isn't a lot to be sad about the Melitta filters other they are excellent quality, fairly priced , and do make your coffee taste better. Coffee is one of may vices and I have foud that it never quite tastes righr with those horrible bleached white paper filtrers. Melitta filters do cost a little more but are worth it. No sense using good coffee with filters making it taste like the cheap brands. When bought in bulk at Amazon they were affordable and worked great. Brown paper filters work best and Melitta has known that for a long time. Good coffee needs to be filtered properly to extract the full flavor without mystery tastes you don't want or need. If you try them you will taste a differance too.

The Melitta naturals are the perfect filter for our drip coffee maker: low price, doesn’t affect the taste

Hey, they're coffee filters. We use the Melitta #4 natural brown cones in our Technivorm Moccamaster drip coffee maker. The filters fit perfectly and don’t add any taste or flavor. In other words, they do their job. Buying the coffee filters in bulk makes them very inexpensive. Recommended. HINT: There are seemingly dozens of sellers of these Melitta natural brown filter cones here on Amazon, with a bewildering set of prices and packaging bundles. Be sure to do your homework before buying.

Rinse it once with hot water and toss out that water before putting your coffee grounds in.

Rinse the paper first!

Remember to first fill the paper with just water to rinse any residue out of the paper. Once it is rinsed fill with your favorite coffee and taste the difference from not rinsing first..

I use a 2 cup filter straight into my coffee mug. Water is heated in a microwave. I have always fresh coffe and free space on my counter, where a coffee maker once sat!!!
