Beautiful and heavy

Heavy great quality high end product. Only place on sturdy shelving - I place on marble or granite personally and enjoy this very much

Not really pink

These are good quality and heavy. However, they are not pink with white veins. The color is really pale beige with no vein detail. There was also some dark slpotches that look like dirt but dont come out.

Quality is good enough

Main + Mesa Geometric Marble Bookends, White, Set of 2 These bookends from Main + Mesa arrived poorly packaged, but by some miracle were not broken. The color is a nice milky white with no discolorations, and the design is simple and can mix with any decor. They weigh quite a bit so they are nice and heavy, and can hold many books easily. The only issue we had was that the rubber feet at the bottom of the bookends fell off and were laying inside the packaging. I had to get other rubber feet and glue them on. And again, I don’t know how these bookends survived the trip because the packaging was so bad, but they did. One star removed for poor packaging. Four stars.

Very Attractive

We got these bookends for my mother-in-law for Christmas and she really liked them. They arrived in good condition, and they have a significant heft that's up to their prescribed job. They're very attractive too. No complaints at all with these attractive and functional bookends.

Good bookends are hard to find: buy these!

I recently bought a very, very large bookshelf and quickly realized that truly heavy bookends are incredibly necessary for a successful bookshelf. The cheap bookends I’ve bought in the past simply aren’t heavy enough to stand up to a thick row or stack of books. And the expensive bookends are several times as expensive as the books themselves. It’s like paying $500 for a frame that you’re putting a $20 print in. It just doesn’t make sense. But these Main + Mesa bookends are classy as all get out, heavy as heck, and don’t break the bank! They’re clean and modern. I’d imagine they can fit into just about anyone’s home decor design scheme. They’re geometric and bold and yet so simple that they just plain work. They look great, what else can be said? My only caveat is with the little rubber feet on the bottom. You know, the tiny clear plastic bubble nubs that protect the surface of your bookshelf from getting scratched incidentally by the bookend? We’ll apparently the adhesive didn’t take because all of the little rubber feet fell off within seconds of taking these out of the box. The marble doesn’t seem to be risking any scratches on my bookcase, but I’d really like it if the nubs had stayed on, just for the added peace of mind. Oh well. Nothing in life is perfect. But these bookends are pretty close.

Nice and heavy

These are very interesting. They are EXTREMELY heavy because of the density of the marble which also makes them perfect as book ends. There are a few minor things to mention. First, they were minimally insulated and kind of bumped against each other a few times in transit which made a few small corner pieces fall off (so they probably won't arrive perfect. If you're a perfectionist then I suggest looking elsewhere) as it wasn't a big deal for me since they'll just be on a shelf and look great as they are. Then, the little pads/glue dots on the bottom fell off/weren't on there very well which is a bit of a problem as they're there to protect surfaces like shelves or tables from scratches which adjusting/dragging the marble on for placement would otherwise cause damage. Thankfully those can be made or purchased inexpensively and I put on my home fix/to do list. The stair step design is very simple/minimalist which is great for me as I don't like a busy or crowded space. Overall I like and would recommend them as I have no serious complaints or issues to report. If repackaged they could make a nice gift idea!

Not BLACK marble as advertised

It's a white stone (maybe white marble) painted in black. NOT BLACK MARBLE at all. The paint stained a bit my hands. what a disappointment ????. I returned it right away.

These arrived like they were previously broken yet were re-attached with filler or something. These were also dusty and smelly.
