Good for veneer band trimming
One of the biggest questions that I had for these flush cut pliers was if it could cut 3/4" wide veneer? I'm edge banding about 20 kitchen drawers made from baltic birch plywood and needed a tool to easily cut the ends of the veneer from the drawer sides. Therefore, I attached a photo showing the length of the flush cutter head, which is ~1.434". I haven't used these pliers for cutting brads, but they do work well for cutting veneer. There's also a hole through the handle near the end on one side. There's a band knotted through the hole that's used to hold the handles together if needed. There is a spring between the handles to assist in opening the handles.

Better this time
The first time I ordered the fastcap flush cut trimmers, the package showed up without the trimmers in it. They did honor my request to send me another package with the trimmers inside this time, no questions asked. The flush cut trimmers came with the package, but they are NOT flush. They have a serious overbite, the blades should be parallel to each other and flush ground on one side, which they are not, having an overlap at the tip and gap at the bottom. This brand was suggested to me by a credible source so I've submitted a return and have reordered another set, hoping this is just a fluke flaw and that the standard quality is much better. It would be very disappointing to learn that this is the standard for this tool. If the third time isn't reminiscent of the old adage, I'll be trying Knipex® flush cut trimmers, more expensive, but maybe ya get what ya pay for... The other disappointing feature is that I have to wait up to 7 days after they receive the returned trimmers, for them to credit me. This is not an ideal situation, especially because I need them now. I'll write another review when I receive the replacement. Hopefully it will be a positive one. They sent the replacement and it is much better. These ones are flush at least and so far seem to work fine

Great Dragon Fruit cutters
I bought these to cut the off shoots from my dragon fruit plants. I needed a angled cutter to evenly pinch cut. These work great. I gave a review for a smaller pair, but thought it was this pair. These are more expensive but worth it!

Works good
Would give it a great rating if, like most hand tools today were machined a little bit better. Nippers we’re not perfectly aligned like you would expect for the price of these. Had to take a file and grinder to flush them up nice and tight. Works great now.

Must have for work!
I use these everyday at work. The regular cutters my employer supplies leaves a tail on zip ties that cut our hands/arms when digging through cables that have been zip tied and cut with regular dykes. Best part is when I wear them down I just hit the flat side for a second with a buffer wheel and it's sharp as new again!

Does the Job but could be better
cuts flush as expected... just noticed that the cutting blade on mine has a small nick on the tip.

Great for Trimming Edge Banding
I had a project where I used edge banding for the first time. I thought I could get away with not needing these flush-cut snips. Boy was I wrong. I was able to get away with using a box cutter blade, but that sure was tedious. Thankfully I was able to order these with next day delivery, and it made trimming the edge banding a much faster process that was no longer a pain. They already did a great job of making a flush cut, and glad I have this tool in my collection now.

Great! But only use for brad nails.
Love them! But only cut brad nails. Soft metal I guess cause they wear out fast. I only ever cut 18 gauge brad nails except twice, as you can see.

This is not a side cutter
Ignore poor reviews on this product. It does exactly what it is designed to do. This device is more like a scissors that is built specifically for trimming PVC (or similar)edge band. Won’t go into a long explanation, but if you aren’t familiar with edge banding in the cabinet industry, Google it, there are a bunch of videos that explain it and show what this tool is used for. It is not a side cutter, if you use it on steel or real hard things, you will damage the cutting surface. Just like you wouldn’t try to use a household paper scissors to cut the head of a nail off, don’t use this Fastcap tool to chop into metal. Used as intended it makes a nice, clean, and near flush cut on PVC/melamine/polyester/wood veneer edge banding material, up to 1mm thick. Just bought another one, and no complaints. Highly recommended ONLY to be used as intended.

Good Design but Quality can be Questionable
The widest cutting blade flush cutter I can find so the design is unique. The cutting blades are very thin and the leverage is moderate so it's not suitable for heavy duty cutting, the claim it's able to cut brad nails is exaggerated otherwise the quality is inconsistent, the cutters are both made of cheap materials but the sample may use some fancy alloys. Using it to cut plastics and wood, sharpening it from time to time, the cutter should be able to do a decent job. I wouldn't try it on hard metals. Overall, considering the features and price, can't expect too much from it. A similar cutter from a well known brand will easily set you back for 5-20 times of that money. Whish Fastcap can make some quality tools from its good ideas even it may push up the price a little bit.

Cutting edge very weak
Have not used this on anything all my normal side cutters have been asked to cut but clearly this can't handle anything more than plastic zip ties. I guess I got what I paid for considering all the "Name Brand" flush cut pliers are more money than these. I should have spent the money on one of those.

They cut really well close
They cut really well and close... The only reason I removed one star is that I feel it is lacking something to help square it up to the edges leaving you to have to sometimes re-cut an edge or have to clean it up. I might try to come up with a 3D printed attachment for it.
