Helps with bulging discs
I had one of these in the past and it does offer some relief from bulging discs. I will say the strap on this one is small and a little uncomfortable. I will also caution against using too much weight to begin with. You may think you're doing a good job of pulling the vertebrae apart, but you may find yourself with pretty severe back muscles spasms later. (I used 12 lbs to start and it was way too much; backed off to 6 lbs.)

Instructions to set it up.
It would have been nice to have instructions on how to use it. I had a hard time figuring out how to get the head halter on my neck and chin when the bag was filled with the correct amount of water for weight. I used it to try and relieve pinched nerve in neck.

The standard home neck stretcher
Pretty much the only game in town when it comes to neck stretchers. You fill a plastic bag with water. Placing a chin and head strap on your face and head, you sit on a chair facing away from one side of a door. Separated by a pulley system and a bracket that fits on top of the door, the water bag on the other side of the door exercises desired pressure in stretching the neck. Indispensable for treating cricks and strains in the neck.

Great for bulging neck disc
Using this about 20 minutes twice a day for 5 days gave me total relief from a bulging disc I have at C5! The head harness is not the most comfortable thing in the world but you don't have to use it very long and for this price it's wonderful!!!
