This item is not returnable…
I ALWAYS select Prime items incase I need to return them- this says it’s a Prime item which I THOUGHT meant free shipping & returns, evidently not. I ordered this for my front door threshold. I received it quickly, it was packaged well- I’d considered it frustration free but still VERY secure, which is a rare combination- usually it’s one or the other. I put it together before I even noticed the instructions, so it’s very easy to put together. Very solid and adaptable. Unfortunately my storm door won’t close with it which surprised me because the lip isn’t thick at all. I went to fill in the return after looking hopefully for something from the same company that might accommodate my needs but couldn’t find anything. The returns page says to contact the manufacturer- which I did. The young lady I spoke to was very helpful, and apologetic that Amazon has it setup that way as the money doesn’t go to them and the returned items don’t even come to them. I called the number she provided got an automated system that sent me a return link that yet again took me to the manufacturer information. This is a GREAT product, I’m very impressed with everything about it but if you have a storm door know upfront it might not work with your door. And if it doesn’t work you can’t return it despite it saying it’s a Prime item. If you don’t have a storm door you will not regret this purchase.

Very sturdy; worked perfectly
Bought these in a bit of a time squeeze. My mom was coming home via wheelchair after an amputation. Ramp worked great enabling me to get her into house smoothly! Very pleased with product! Very easy to assemble and use! Amazing packaging and shipping as always with amazon!!!

They work.
These are being used to allow a wheelchair to pass over a sliding glass door threshold. They weren't quite as wide as I thought but they are doing the job.

Fabulous product
The material is quite substantial and shipping was speedy! The installation from our back door to the deck was less than 30 minutes with only a few screws to keep it in place. Well, 30 minutes with an electric drill -lol. Do not hesitate-we would definitely buy again should the need arise.

Ramt height problem.
Great ramp (but I would not leave it outside in our neightberhood). The only thing that I noticed was the add in Amazon said that it would go down to 3/4 inch. It cannot go lower than 1 inch. But it is great!

Awesome!
Needed this for so long! Now its easier for myself and my aging guest. Wish I had bought a long time ago. Easy to install! Slide together and put two screws at very bottom. Worth every penny spent!!!! Will be buying another for other doorway.

ALMOST just what we needed.
Very frustrating purchase and return issues. THe description of this indicated it was good for patio and sliding glass doors. But BEWARE of the measurements and if you have an older home. Our doorway threshold to the patio where we wanted to use it is only 28" wide, so the top edge of this ramp, which has to be put together with less than clear directions imo (they COULD label each of the pieces with a letter and write directions to coincide with those), did not fit as we anticipated and expected. This was ordered by me with mom's nursing assistant beside me. On top of it, there was no indication it was not returnable. But when it did not fit right, I went to AMazon to initiate the return and got a message that it was NOT, and a link to the company I had to contact. I cannot tell you the amount of time and frustration this has created. My mother will be 100 in a few weeks, and since June of 2021 she has been a hospice patient for dementia, here at home. Our NA and nurse suggested getting a Broda Chair (so legs can remain outstretched) and a hoyer lift, and the ramp was the final piece to make things go smoothly in getting mom outside in fresh air and sunshine for the first time in over a year. She has been in the bed for all this time. Although we squeezed the chair out it is heavy itself, and with mom in it even heavier. Above and beyond our NA's efforts...and I helped as well so we really wanted this ramp to work, and at worst I anticipated we could do an exchange. Communication with the company was challenging. THey persisted in saying I had to deal with Amazon, they did not sell directly. I feel like I am going in circles. I did connect with Amazon and managed to get someone who had a dialect that was hard for me to understand on top of his admitting he was speaking through a mask...and I know my hearing is not as sharp as it may have been. He was going to send an email and it never arrived and was not in spam/junk either. I still have the box with the ramp to return. Also feel the person who got in touch with me from the company was not as knowlegable as one would hope, and I don't feel very reassured about the model she is suggesting. Clearly I do not and never did want to have to return the purchase and don't want to set myself up to go through this grief again. I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor and have yet to hear from anyone. Very disappointed...would strongly suggest if you still want to order from them that you double check your measurements to make sure it will fit and don't just rely on descriptions that say it's great for patio and sliding glass doors....

Helpful addition
We purchased the 6" height for use when a family member using a walker visits for several months. Slope is steeper than anticipated, but it's still easier for her than lifting the walker up and down from the doorstep. It's installed between a smooth brick step and a pea gravel patio; we did have an issue with slipping but did not want to drill into either end since it's a short term installation. I bought 3M Safety-Walk exterior tread tape, and put some on the underside of the adjustable flap on the high end and also on the underside of the bottom edge. It definitely reduced slipping. I may go back and cut skinny strips of the tread tape to put on all the bottom sections that contact the pavement. Also considering putting strips across the width of each segment to "slow the roll" going down the ramp. However, that may make it more difficult to push the walker up.

Easy assembly but noisy when stepped on
Bought this for my 92 year old mother. She finds the angle a bit steep but it's much easier than stepping up or down three inches. Installation was fairly easy. The three panels slide together but not easily. A little sanding of edges would probably help and would also take away the sharpness of the cut edges. I had to notch both sides of the flap with a hacksaw to make it fit into the door threshold and I put two screws into the aluminum threshold to keep it from sliding away. There are three tiny screws that go into pre-drilled holes, one per panel, to keep the panel edges aligned. My only complaint is that it flexes when stepped on and makes a noise. I didn't want to take it all apart again but if I were to do another, I think a bead of clear silicone in each track would help lubricate it to slide together more easily and when it sets up it should help make it silent. I'd also slide a rubber mat underneath to keep it from scraping on the concrete floor every time it flexes. All in all a good value and I'd buy again but would adjust my assembly procedures as noted.

Great for patio door threshold
I purchased a 1 inch and a three inch EZAccess ramp to transition over a patio door threshold. The extruded aluminum pieces slide together easily and they come with the screws to secure it in place. I did not want to put holes in my floor so I have come up with an alternate method for securing them. If your measurements aren't exact, the hinged flap allows for some degree of adjustment, however, it may result in some noise if not securely locked into place. We use both a wheelchair and walker over it and while not a perfectly smooth transition, it does the job and was cheaper than having someone bend a puece of metal at the local shop. Great for do-it-yourself and also for those situations needing a solution fast! The only drawback I found is one of the pieces had a bent corner and it interferes with the last piece sliding completely together. The box it came in also had a bit of damage so I believe this is a shipper issue and not a factory issue. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.

a game changer for accessibility!
Such a great modular solution for wheelchair access problems in the home! Wish I’d known about these years ago. I love the modular design. They are very stable and sturdy - we have one on each side of our sliding door to the deck and it’s been a game changer for accessibility. It’s also small enough that we plan to bring one with us when we visit family so I can get up their front step. I use a manual wheelchair - not sure whether these would work for a full sized power wheelchair but definitely would work for scooters and compact folding power chairs.

Good looks and quality
I bought this as I needed a 4" ramp for the outside on my sliding patio door and Amazon did not have 4", or 5" models in stock. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed all i needed to do was to no use the 2 tallest sections. Each section raises the ramp 1". Nice and strong. Easily handles me and my power chair.

It's ok...
I wish there were screws or some sort of heavy duty adhesive to use with this product. It doesn't stay in place, slides around a lot. Does what it needs to do but each time you use it, you have to put the ramp back in place ????
