nice kit, does a good job... needs a more robust output tho.
overall this is a nice kit, includes everything you need for an easy install, and does a good job with producing clean water. if all you want is the stock faucet, then it's got everything you need. The multiple cartridges on top of the unit are all positioned from the factory with their writing upright, but since they all have the same flow directions when reading the labels, that also means there is a lot of excess, unnecessary piping looping around behind the cartridges. It's not necessary to have all the labels in upright orientation, and you can really clean up the system and remove extra piping by flipping one or more of the cartridges, so that the output of one and the input of the next are next to each other. less piping also helps to reduce friction and pressure drop in the system. Take the time to rearrange the cartridges into a more logical flow, and get rid of all the extra pipes, before you install it. If you are like me, or many other folks, you want more than JUST the stock faucet. You might want to connect this to your fridge ice maker, or as I did, to an under-sink hot water maker, and a Delta Glass Rinser. That requires a few extra pieces. The connection on top of the tank out of the box has both the feedline and the faucet line, which requires the tank to build up the pressure and depending on your city service pressure, the actual water flow during demand could be from the feedline OR the tank, or both simultaneously. If you want to build a manifold on top of the tank to serve multiple faucets and things, you will need to think about your install and make a few visits to your local Home Depot. it's not overly difficult to build a nice manifold to serve multiple things, and this system is very capable of handling several downstream things. I have no trouble feeding my glass rinser and an open-vent style hot water maker. Also, if you have a basement under your kitchen, you CAN install this system and hang it from the rafters under your kitchen, freeing up the cabinet space under your sink. You might need to pick up some extra tubing to fit the length you need, but that is pretty easy. You can also mount the filter system and the tank in different cabinets, say if your under-sink cabinet is too small to fit everything. Just try to keep the tubes as short as possible to fit your install needs. one thing I would definitely recommend tho... do not try to build the manifold directly on top of the tank. you will end up with an ugly mess that makes management difficult. Instead, spend a little extra to build a proper manifold system, with each inlet and outlet seperately valved, and attach it to the wall inside the cabinet. That will make maintenance significantly easier, and will allow you to isolate any part of the system without having to de-pressurize the whole thing. A proper manifold also allows you to expand to additional faucets easily without having to disassemble the whole system.

Skip the Deionizer and Could use a membrane flush valve
This kit gives you a lot of features for the price, but I would recommend this kit instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J2DGTD8/ref=emc_b_5_t I'll explain why below. First of all, I really like this kit. This kit came with everything you'd need for a standard install. It does have an automatic shutoff when the reservoir is full, which is a key feature since these things can generate about 300 gallons of waste water a day without that shutoff valve. Second, this has two stages of carbon filtration before the RO membrane. It takes some digging as to why this is good, but ultimately this is for chloramine treated water which a lot of cities use as it's more stable than chlorine. This stability means it's also harder to remove, hence the need for multiple carbon stages. I'm not 100% sure what the third carbon stage adds other than a nice-to-have and being a post-membrane scrubber may remove some undesirable chemicals that may leach from there. All-in-all, I don't hate the third stage of carbon, but I don't know if I'd have gone out of my way to add one but it is a nice feature that I'm glad to have. The two things I'd change about this kit is: First, I'd add a membrane flush valve. This allows you to "bypass" the RO membrane and only generate wastewater. This is key when you replace your first two stages of carbon, and is a good preventative maintenance step to do periodically which prolongs the life of your RO membrane. You can buy this separately for about $10 and would be a good investment. Still not a deal breaker, I really do like this RO unit (note, not the DI unit). The reason why I'd recommend the other kit is because I strongly recommend you skip this deionizer. If you don't need a deionizer, don't waste your money. This adds not only about $30 to the filter cost, but also adds about $80 a year in filter media ($40 per filter replacement every 6 months). From what I can tell it's an integrated dual-media filter that needs to be replaced if either media becomes expended. It's difficult to see if/when you need to replace the media (not a clear container using color-change media) and the replacement media is very expensive. For about $100 you can pick up a two-stage deionizer, with a standalone (In/Out) TDS meter, color changing media to tell you when to replace the media, two separate deionizing media that can be replaced only when they are expended, and the media only costs about $15 per canister per replacement ($30 per complete replacement) and should last twice as long. This upgrade should easily pay for itself in the first year. Additionally, the additional TDS meter will let you know when the input TDS creeps up indicating a membrane failure. It's cheaper to replace a failed $17 membrane than to destroy $30 worth of media only to then replace both. This feature will save you about $20 on the first membrane replacement. All-in-all, fantastic kit. You get a lot for the price and the quality seems fantastic, but I'd go with the other kit by the same manufacturer, and pay a little extra up-front for a dedicated, two-state, color-change, DI filter.

So hard to install
This installation requires drilling, cutting lines, watching videos, pulling out hair. NOT A SIMPLE SETUP.

Great undersink RO System!!!
So I bought the system with clear filters, pressure gauge and the Deionizer. Shockingly enough only the factory put together push connects leaked, they we not pushed in the whole way but no big deal the Manuel did say to check so it’s really my fault. My house is on city water and it shows 55psi at the ro system and it seems to be making water quick it’s only been up and running a couple hours. The Manuel says to empty the tank 4 times before you start using the water but on my second flush my total dissolved solids is already down to 3 ppm!!! Crazy I didn’t think it could get it that low the quick so it’s safe to say it’s working I plan to get the uv sterilizer in the coming months. As far as the Install goes all I needed was a screw driver, adjustable wrench, a 1/4in drill for the drain line and 1/2 drill for the faucet and a drill of coarse. The fitting for the main water valve swivels which saved me a trip to the store as there is not much room under my sink so that made me happy lol. All the fittings are plastic and they seem decent enough just be carful not to over do it, just past hand tight is good dont forget the blue safety’s. The system was a lil bigger that I expected but that’s fine everything seems like great quality and I am very happy and will update my review if anything changes

Don't go 6 stage
This was a breeze to install and worked great. Unfortunately I'm taking a star away because quickly after installing it the ion filter made an awful smell of fish. Where the real points are lost is the fact that it's damn near impossible to find a replacement ion filter at a reasonable price, especially for the life of it. And to be clear, it was flushed properly prior to use.

Mixed Emotions
The system has very clear assembly instructions and would be easily installed if you don't have 2" drain pipes, which I have. The only drain saddle for the waste water is 1 1/2 " and when I requested they send me a 2" drain saddle, they told me to go to Home Depot or Lowes or call a plumbing supplier. I did and they did not have one. Since they do include two sizes of feed water adapter nuts, they understand the concept of alternate sizes. So why they do not have a 2" drain saddle I consider poor design. Their literature says "We're not happy until you are" so I guess this means they are unhappy as well. I was able to install the 1 1/2 " drain saddle after modifying it to squeeze into a short section of pipe. One star lost due to poor design, one star lost because I had to modify the drain saddle.

Happy with purchase
Happy with purchase.Works as advertised.Super easy to set up,as instructions are in pictures and everything is color coded.I have very hard water. For human consumption,I mix half and half with separate carbon-block filtered water (which takes out chlorine, heavy metals, arsenic, etc, but leaves the good minerals). This brings the hardness down to normal levels, which also keeps scale from building up on coffee maker.I use straight R.O. water in Humidifier, and add Cal-Mag to R.O. for watering plants. You can also mix R.O.with tap water which puts minerals back in water, but also chlorine, heavy metals etc, which is still better than straight tap water. If you are drinking only reverse osmosis water,it is very important to supplement the loss of minerals which are taken completely out of the water, like calcium and magnesium, for both plants and humans.Eat more fruit and vegetables to supplement loss of minerals.Add Cal-Mag for watering plants. It is unhealthy to drink only R.O. water over a long period of time, without adding lost minerals to your diet.It can even leach minerals already in body.Do some research first.

Ok
Ok, it works but very slow to dispense water even with 60psi water pressure. Also didn't know that this system constantly backwashes! The drain hose always has water coming out even when tap is off! Huge waste of water!! Cheap but expensive to operate.

Leaking faucet knob
Installation was very easy and the system works well, but the knob of the faucet leaks constantly. It's a very small leak, but it can't be repaired. I'm going to have to replace the faucet because it's much less of a hassle than trying to return this whole thing. A quality faucet will cost me about 50... Very neatly packaged and everything was already perfectly clean. If it weren't for the leaky faucet, I'd give it 5 out of 5.
