Alarm is not loud enough
We owned the larger version of this timer for over 10 years until the LCD stopped working. So we looked for the some one and found they now only make this smaller version. That was ok because what we really like is the fact that it was a number pad that you can quickly punch in the exact time you want. I would have given this 4 start if it wasn't for the fact that the alarm is way to quiet. After about 10 feet away I can barely hear it when there is no other noises in the kitchen.

The timer is much smaller than I expected, even though I, just now, saw the dimensions way down in the product description. But it was not too small that I could not get used to it if that had been all. I liked that all the numbers were lined up in rows so it is much easier to set the timer. The start/stop, and clear were just fine, and it doesn't bother me that it beeps whenever I pressed on a number or start or clear. And the numbers in the 'window' were plenty big and dark enough to see them well. The magnet held good on the slanted top of the dome holding the fan above my stove top. So why two stars? Because I need a timer where the alarm is loud enough to hear in the other side of the house, and we live in a double wide mobile home where the doors are open all day. Or when in the kitchen just visiting with people and doing a lot of cooking so there is a louder level of noise. There is no excuse for a timer with an alarm that is that weak. It went back. Several years ago we bought a CDN timer, and I saw that that timer was still on sale and here on Amazon. That is an excellent timer.

Buen producto pero...
Recibí el producto en excelente estado, el empaque es llamativo y resistente, la calidad del material del temporizador es buena, te da la sensación de que se trata de un dispositivo muy sofisticado. En general es un buen producto, solo que se me presento un problema, resulta que al usarlo por tercera vez, al querer configurar 15 minutos en la cuenta regresiva, al oprimir en dígito "5" me ponía el número "8", le daba el reset al contador y así lo intente en varias ocasiones y no me respetaba el valor ingresado, tuve que quitarle las pilas al dispositivo y así se soluciono el problema, esto ya no me volvió a ocurrir y espero no me vuelva a pasar, porque en verdad lo considero un buen producto en relación al costo beneficio.
