These filters are easy to install and change (every 90 days), and they do a good job of keeping odor from escaping into the room.

Work well

These filters work well in my compost bucket. They say to change every 3 months, but I have stretched mine out longer than that. I just go by how the filter looks or if I notice a smell coming from the bucket.

Good product for the money

This is my second purchase of this item, so it is definitely an item worth using. I like that it comes in a 3 pack so you don't have to worry about purchasing a new filter every 3 months. Its easy to rinse if some of your kitchen scraps get on it if your bin gets over filled. Shipping was fast.

Fit Fine.

Pretty much as described. Exact replacements for original filters that came with the composter, just make sure to press all the cover snaps back into place to eliminate any gaps around the edges and the fit will be perfect. Not quite as pictured though, in that they didn't come in manufacture's plastic and cardboard sleeve, just a zip-lock bag. So suggest to store extras in some kind of rigid container because they're fragile as crackers and if thrown unprotected into a kitchen drawer might emerge months later in less than desirable condition. (Don't ask me how I know this. )

2 months of stink free

After purchasing the Exaco 2.4 gallon compost bucket and reading that you need to replace the filter every two months I thought I could probably get away with it longer as I hate having to buy replacements frequently. Nope, for us it was almost exactly 2 months and you definately know when it needs to be changed because these are very good at elimating any smell. They seem pricey for only 3 and short time they last but they work very well and the the matching bucket is the best I've used.

These work as advertised. I would only mention that they are very expensive for what they are -- a few small pieces of carbon filter -- and you can buy any number of other products that can be cut to fit, at a much better price. I bought a 4-pack of Aftermarket Carbon Filters, size 6"x9 1/4", and will get several times the number of filters for the money. In fact, Amazon sells a 16"x48" sheet of carbon filter for air purifiers that I didn't buy because I didn't feel like storing such a big piece, but you could have a lifetime supply for less than the price of these. Worth it only for convenience.

Yes, they fit but are they good enough to spend a large amount of money for 3 on? I haven't used any yet because I am still using the last original that come with the kitchen compost bin. I won't be able to truly rate this for another 6 months and that is why it is only a 3 star rating.
