If you sweat a lot say hello to your new best friend

Really like it. I might love it if it endures. My early thoughts are this. I shave my head and I sweat heavily when I work out. I wear bandanas when I workout or doing physical labor longer than 15 minutes which will cause a downpoor of sweat. This beanie fits over my larger than average dome and holds 98% of the sweat. I sweat through tightly tied bandanas in minutes and within 20 minutes sweat trickles down into my eyes. I've done 40 minutes of cardio the last 3 days and pretty much nothing escapes. I like the thickness. It stretches well and is more ventilated than it appears in pictures. It looks really good on. I wear it over my ears (about 60% coverage) and it doesn't cause any discomfort or rash anywhere. I wish they made these when I played college football back in the 90's.

This would be on the "light" side of 3 stars. It looks like it's pretty well made so I don't find fault with that but the band has a rough, crinkly, interior that leaves an impression after wearing it for any length of time, it actually becomes irritating and hurts after a while. I wear a large hat, 22" noggin circumference, but not huge or extra large hat and this is tight. Also if I pull it down to be tight enough so as to not wrinkle under my helmet, I have to pull it over my ear and it's not comfortable at all. I'm giving this thing the benefit of the doubt because it may fit some just fine plus the quality seems pretty good but I won't ever use this.

Sweat In Your Eyes?

This is exactly what I needed to wear under a logger's helmet (the kind W/earmuffs and face shield). It is sung fitting on my above average head(7-5/8" hat size) and has a thick sweatband. It fits me just a bit over the ears, but could be moved up and not cover any of your ears if you wanted. The brim is strong elastic and fits snug - about as snug as anything I would want - any tighter and it would be annoying after a few hours. I also wear eyeglasses. It fits slightly over the temple pieces of the glasses and snugs them to my face, a feature I like because I often work "under" something, a dashboard, a crawl space, and my glasses, especially if I'm sweaty can slip down and move around. This would fit under any helmet nicely. I measured - it is 10 1/2 inches I.D. and nearly a perfect circle. Bottom edge of sweatband to crown is 4 3/4 inches. Sweatband is 1 1/2 inches wide. It is made of a black mesh elastic cloth with a quilted white sweatband on the inside of the brim - and would allow good ventilation to the top of the head. It feels like a quality item. I have not washed it yet and no laundry instructions are included but as with any clothing you want to maintain its elasticity, hand wash in gentle soap would probably extend its life.

Great price, quite good, but NOT recommended as motorcycle helmet lining

The EVS was priced right. Decent sweat beanie, but the sweat headband makes the band portion slightly too thick to fit comfortably under your full-face motorcycle helmet (I have an Arai, which in my experience have tight-fitting padding). I do wear it under my baseball caps to keep them fresh, and for that it seems to be doing a decent job. I'm not quite certain if it's actually wicking sweat away from my skin -- perhaps the opposite. But it definitely keeps the sweat out of my eyes, which is important if you shave your head as do I. It definitely saves my hats -- and despite my opening line, I did manage to squeeze my Arai over it, so it's not impossible to use as a helmet liner. However, myUnder Armour beanie and Schampa mesh sweat beanies are better suited for that use.

I like this beanie

Just what I needed for my shiny cold bald head. I'm cold, I"m always cold, especially my head. So I decided to take serious action. I needed something for just wearing around the house since we keep our thermostat set at 60 in the winter, it makes my head cold. Anyway, I like this beanie, it's light, doesn't make my head itchy like other materials and it's comfortable to wear all day. I will probably buy another one or two if I can find different colors. My friends ask me where I get my stuff all the time. Go to Amazon dude and quit asking me. I only gave it 4 stars because 5 stars are meant for angels and gods.

Love This Cap! Stylish! Functional! Perfect!

I love these little caps so much I bought this one after I bought a set of two, one black and one white, and I will be buying more. Like anything, they don't last forever. In fact, the writing on the side will begin to fade, especially if you wear it a lot during activities where you sweat. I play basketball and wear this cap to match my outfits because I have this thing about looking cool from head to toe. I've turned many a head when I wear this cap. Yes, it looks that cool. This cap has also saved me on many a "bad hair" days. I'm in between decisions on what hair style I want to get, so my hair isn't exactly people ready each time I need to run out of the house for whatever reason. I can toss one of these caps on with casual clothing or sports wear and I'm good to go. I highly recommend these. They're only around $20 for two and I believe $10.50 for one. Well worth it and much cheaper than choosing the wrong hairstyle, dishing out a couple hundred bucks, and being stuck with something you don't love!

Recommended - Good If You Don't Wear Glasses

Hello All, It's Steve_In_TN With Another Review! This product is okay, but I wouldn't recommend it if you wear glasses. I do wear glasses, and it was too tight of a fit to be comfortable. It does a great job of keeping the sweat out of your eyes when it fits well. Construction: Decent construction, with good materials. Fit: Tight fit. Feel: Without glasses, it feels good. Usability: Works okay for workouts. Issues: Fits a bit tight, and because of this it doesn't work well with glasses. Pros: Keeps the sweat out of your eyes. Cons: Doesn't fit well with glasses. Tight fit

Maybe I have a large head, but this beanie seems to fit pretty tight on me. It also makes it hard to use bluetooth headphones during a workout. On the plus side it does keep sweat out of my eyes fairly well.

Good bang for your buck

Good quality. Keeps the sweat out of my eyes when I workout. A bit snug. My head is 7 1/4. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a larger head size.
