Decent light strip
This light strip is easy to install and is pretty bright. You can adjust color variations within Eve app or directly through Apple HomeKit. Compatibility with Apple HomeKit is flawless. You can also cut the strip down in length and extensions are also available. I’ve never lost connection to the light strip via WiFi and it is very responsive, showing almost immediate reaction to my adjustments. My only complaint is the adhesive in the strip is fairly weak and didn’t allow the strip to stay secure to the back of my TV. I added some 3M adhesive strips that hold it in place.

Works perfectly with my Apple Home App, Siri, and Homepod Pro
I didn't want to have to use another Hue light. This one was perfect. Scan the QR code in the box, and it showed up in my Apple Home App. i was able to quickly configure it within Home App, adding it to my existing room, scenes, and automation set ups. Responds to my siri voice commands to my Homepod Pro, turning on, off, change brightness, colors, etc. Great color variations, brightness, and price point. I was able to easily add an additional 6ft extension, and cut off the end to fit exactly where I needed it to fit. I could not be more please with how well this works, and how simple it was.

Great for Apple HomeKit
Light extension is as good as the main strip, very bright and lots of color choices. Works very well with HomeKit. The only issue I had is that I was planning to use the self-adhesive band in the back and it kept dropping down, the glue is very weak and can't hold the weight of the strip.

ZERO support!! BEWARE!
Update: I did finally receive warranty replacement and the issue no longer exists (imagine!). As long as you don’t need that kind of support, these lights are the best out there and I like them a lot. The customer support, as noted below, may make them an investment some are not willing to chance. Let me preface this review with some knowledge of my smart home build and network. All of my appliances are connected, I have 6 Eve light switches throughout my home, 6 Eve strip lights around my kitchen cabinets, I have Phillips Hue outdoor and indoor lighting products, I have connected thermostats and temperature sensors in multiple rooms, 3 Apple HomePods, 1 Apple TV 4K, and even my kitchen faucet is a connected appliance... I say that because I want to be clear that I understand how these IOT devices and networks work. I have one Eve light strip that CONSTANTLY throws an error of "unable to read/write"... ONE, of the 6 that are all in the same location (my kitchen). I had to hunt to find a support email for Eve to try to get this issue fixed. I have been having back and forth emails for WEEKS! I would love to post the email string here to demonstrate the (at best) incompetence or (at worst) dishonesty of the company and their failure to stand behind their products. I may do so if they don't act in the coming days. First, there is no other way to get support for Eve products. NONE! You can only email and only if you can find that email hidden in their documentation or on websites. The individuals (it's not clear based on disjointed and unaware replies that I'm continuously talking with the same person) continue to use double-speak and take no responsibility for this 1, obviously faulty light strip! I've heard "these lights work through bluetooth, not wi-fi" right before an email that says "it's a problem with your router". I've had no fewer than 15 back and forth emails and no resolution to my problem or even an attempt to troubleshoot or correct the problem! SO FRUSTRATING! DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU'RE OKAY WITH NEVER GETTING SUPPORT OR WARRANTY SERVICE FOR SOME VERY EXPENSIVE LIGHTS!!!!!!

Excellent Light, adhesive does not hold. Extension interconnect needs latch
The Good: We really like the EVE light strip. It is very responsive and it is bright enough to for using for under cabinet lights. The could be better: The adhesive strip does not hold and the interconnect with the extension connector really needs a “latch” to keep things attached. Others have mentioned using thumb tacks to address the issue with the adhesive not being adequate. For our purposes, I used 1/2” #8 pan head (lath) wood screws and used them along the edges of the light strip to hold it in place. DO NOT pierce the light strip itself - but rather used the screws along the edge outside of the light strip (see pictures). The other issue we had was with keeping the extension connector attached. I feel that it should have some sort of latch/catch to allow the two ends to lock together. I ended up using a small binder clip to help keep the two ends together (see picture)

Uses old wifi band 2.4Ghz but great lighting overall
It's got plenty of color options and the light is pretty bright. My son really enjoys it. Overall the product is good but it's use of old wifi bands is pretty silly. You should be able to connect to 5Ghz but instead you're going to have to switch to 2.4 if you want to control it.

Flexible Smart Strip Lighting for Apple (iOS) Home Kit users
Best purchase I made so far. I live in a small space where I don’t have room for a floor or table lamp in my living room. Originally I wanted to do what most do and that’s install this under the kitchen cabinets but my molding makes it difficult. So it’s either behind the TV or in the glass cabinet. The lighting is actually quite bright and you can adjust the colors and brightness. More on that later. Pairing with your iOS device. - like many apple friendly accessories you simply scan the QR code within the Home App (already in your iPhone or tablet) or you can download the Eve App if you wish. - once it gets recognized you can assign it to a room etc. And your done. Works with Siri - no more looking at your phone to change colors, turn it on or off, or adjust brightness. I mean you can if you want to but just say “hey Siri” and tell her what you want. - for example I can say, hey Siri: - turn on my living room lights. - turn my living room lights to red - turn my lights down by 50% Installing - the strip can be adjusted to the length you desire. - you can cut along the scissor mark (see pic) if you need a shorter length. - if you need a longer length you can buy an extension kit and connect it to the female end (see pic) The strip is very flexible and has adhesive tape built in. - connect the power adapter to the end of the module (white block that says “elgato” it should say “eve” but probably designed before the company changed names. Tips: Make sure you plan out where you want to install it. The adhesive is strong so be sure! This only works if you have an apple device. iPhone or iPad. Do not buy if you or whoever you’re buying it for doesn’t have an apple device.

Not disappointed with my first foray into light strips.
I bought this because I focus on HomeKit but didn’t want to buy a Mini to get Thread. I’m satisfied with the colour and the response time is great. Adaptive lighting throughout the day is a joy. I had some with the adhesive sticking the the metal supports on my desk but it could be user error. I do wish there was a black cord option, but I imagine most will prefer white.

Great light strip
I love Eve products and this is yet another almost perfect one. The only miss here is the lack of Thread support. Considering that Eve is now rolling out Thread support to other product lines, I feel like it would be much better and future proof with it. Thread is the right direction in home automation systems and should eventually replace all other methods
