reasonably accurate

Used this to weigh checked bags on a recent international trip. Note: you must be able to lift and hold the bag until the weight records (the readout locks), but it was always accurate to within a fraction of a pound when weighing the same bag multiple times. Example it might be 48.8 one time and 48.9 the next. Then, at the airport the scales also matched within 1 lb.. We got to the point of filling the bags to 48.9 pounds on the scale and they were always under the 50 lb. limit at the airport. Where we could see the scale, it was usually +- 0.5 lbs. Very helpful tool.

Easy to use

This travel scale is perfect for me! It is easy to use, accurate, and I love that you can zero it out before moving to the next piece of luggage. Fits back in my luggage after checking the weight and easy to pack. I prefer digital scales over the ones that you have to read the needle because it doesn't seem accurate to me, but I feel pretty confident with this one. I plan on traveling more and checked bags can get expensive if over the weight limit, but this allows me to avoid being embarrassed at the airport. I know what the weight is PRIOR to arriving and placing my bag on their scale.

Life saver

Although my luggage always closes easily....I'm usually over weight - I travel for long stays a lot. This has been a life saver and has made traveling less stressful. The weight always alone with the scale at the airlines and I am always able to navigate any weight challenges ahead of the airport. It's so easy and lightweight to travel with. Wish I had this year's ago!

Accurate

The scale was delivered on time as expected. I travel often for my job & this scale came in handy for a 3 week trip. It is easy to use & very much accurate. I used prior to going to the airport & the scale was right on point with the airport’s scale. This saved me a lot of time so I didn’t have to remove items from my luggage while at the airport.

Works like a charm

Required item in your luggage today if you are traveling internationally. Weight has become an income line for airlines to charge you extra. So keeping your luggage within limits saves you time and money. This one works great and has some extra features that most of us probably won't use but are nice to read about on a slow day.

Works for intended use

This specific product had great reviews so I purchased it for weighing luggage for airline restrictions. I give it a 4 star for it worked well enough for its intended use, but was not accurate and sometimes inconsistent. I would weigh the same suitcase and it would often come up with a different number (although just an ounce or two different). In the big picture I was able to get my luggage (i.e., 49.8 pounds with the device) and when weighed at the airport it came in at 50.1 pounds, but I had no issue with the airline. It is very light so I traveled with it to check luggage on the return flight(s). It was well worth the cost simply for the peace of mind that I was within the weight limits and knew I was not going to get charged over-weight fees. Just wish it was more consistent and accurate. I however would purchase again.

Very accurate and convenient

I found this luggage weight to be incredibly useful and accurate in measuring the weight of my luggage. The compact design of the scale makes it easy to carry with me when traveling, and it is simple to use. One of the things that I appreciate about this luggage weight is the "Stop & Lock" feature. This feature allows me to easily read the weight of my luggage without having to hold the luggage weight steady. All I have to do is lift the luggage, wait for the weight to stabilize, and then read the weight on the screen. The digital display is easy to read, even in dim lighting. Another great feature of this luggage weight is that it can measure up to 110 pounds, which is more than enough for most travelers. The weight is displayed in both pounds and kilograms, so it's convenient for travelers from different countries. Plus it gives temperature readout. Overall, I highly recommend the Luggage Scale for anyone who wants a reliable, accurate, and portable luggage weight. It's small enough to carry in a purse or backpack, and it's accurate enough to give you peace of mind when you're traveling.

Buy this!

We all over pack. I was going to be traveling quite a bit in Asia and the airlines there can be quite strict on weight limits -- 15.4 lbs. for your carry on and personal item combined. Nothing worse than learning your luggage weighs too much when you're trying to check in for your flight. This little item is perfect! Lightweight and so easy to use. And a lifesaver when determining whether or not you're within the airlines guidelines. Wish I would have bought this years ago!

Etekcity Digital Scale Accuracy and Size

The Etekcity digital scale appears to be as accurate, (and a lot smaller and lighter), compared to the old Tracker mechanical scale I have been using until now. It will be considerably less difficult to pack in future trips.
