this is the packaging my wrenches should have came in!
when I was a kid my dad had a set of nice wrenches in a roll up wrap like this. He used to get so angry when one would get misplaced, but now I understand. As a tech I buy a lot of tools from snap-on and it really takes a tough, thoughtful product to catch my eye. The arsenal wrench wrap is just that. The big tool makers need to hire arsenal to outfit their stuff properly. First experiences. There is a tag on it, like the tag in your shirt that says the size. My first instinct was to remove that tag because hey, I hate tags. I could not tear it off- I tried twice. If the tag is that strong imagine the actual canvas! I've got a set of snapon metric long handle gear wrenches I paid an arm and a leg for. When I got them they came in a disposable plastic tray. So I take a 400 dollar set of tools and lay them in the tool box, which is fine. But what happens when I need to actually use them? Do I grab them all like a cave man and sift through them to find what I need? Someone mentioned the color being less than ideal for working on cars or whatever. I disagree. This way I can tell if it is really soiled and wash it. If it was black or dark it would just get dirty and stay dirty. I'm sure mine will get dirty, I didn't buy it to wear to sunday dinner. The set I bought this for goes 10mm-19mm so I have 4 open small slots, I can live with that. It houses the large gear wrenches perfectly, and I mean that. They are firmly held in place yet easy to remove, and with the snapon long handle set all of the size markings end up above the pocket, no need to remove to read the sizes. Very pleased. I was worried because the listed dimensions said 10"- the largest pocket is well longer than that. More like 14 inches or so. All in all I would recommend this to anyone who cares for their tools, no matter what kind they are. An organized 10 dollar wrench set is more useful to me than an expensive set loose in a drawer.

Finally a great wrench roll!
I was really worried this wouldn't fit my wrenches in one way or another but it's like it was made just for them. I have a set of 1/4" to 1" Craftsman wrenches in here and they fit perfectly. The metric wrenches are a little short since they don't get much larger as the sizes progress up so the larger wrenches kind of fall in their pockets. However with the construction of this thing it's worth dealing with. I was amazed at how heavy duty this canvas was. Coming from a 12 pocket Craftsman roll this is above and beyond the quality. I needed this to store a second set of wrenches in my tool box at school, I'm going for diesel mechanics and have second of almost everything. These rolls opened up so much extra space in my backups drawer. When I got it I checked my other DIY'er home wrenches in it and they fit fine also. One set was Husky which fit a little short and the other set was Kobalt and fit great. The Husky's were to short to see the sizes but they stuck out far enough they could be retrieved easily and the Kobalts were perfect. I also tried my wrenches from school which are SK and they fit great too. Honestly these are absolutely worth the small price tag when you consider how durable these seem. If I'm wrong I'll gladly update but for real, don't hesitate.

Great wrench roll
I bought first aBucket Boss Brand 07004 Duckwear Tool Roll and then after stuffing it full of every wrench, pliers and screwdriver in my auto tool "box" (and by box, I mean a literal box with no organization) I realized that now I had an unorganized tool roll replacing an unorganized box. So on the advice of other reviewers I bought this wrench roll to segregate the wrenches from the rest and I am extremely pleased. Yes it's white, and soon it will be gray from auto oil dirt etc, but the wrenches I had all fit, (6x7mm box to 1 1/4th combo) and if there is an empty slot I've left one in the job and will search for it before I need it next and can't find it or wonder what that rattle is under the hood. Recommended: It's better canvas than you can get in your average fabric store so even if you felt like making it, you'd need some industrial strength canvas to sew your own and a better sewing machine than your average home machine to handle the seams. (I could sew maybe two layers but not three without using something like aSpeedy Stitcher Sewing Awl 120 Con: White? Seriously? but who cares, it will wash back to a neutral gray but won't affect the storage at all.

Arsenal vs Craftsman
I just bought 2 of these and 4 of the Craftsman 14 pocket wrench rolls (part# 34518). The Arsenal's are made of a thicker, and I assume, a more durable material. Both this and the craftsman seem to be made of good quality material. The Craftsman has deeper pockets for the larger wrenches. My set of large box ends and 2 of my larger open end stick out the end of Arsenals, but fit well in the Craftsman. So I'm going to put my "smaller" wrenches in these and the larger ones in the other. I caught the Craftsman at a local Sears store for 10 bucks, so that was cool. I also like the Craftsman fold down to cover the ends of the wrenches. The Craftsman's thinner material may not be as durable over time, I'll have to wait and see. If they don't last long, I will order more Arsenal wraps to replace them and just live with the longer wrench ends sticking out. The two large open end wrenches laying on top will not fit in either roll up. I really like these and they will probably last for the rest of my days of wrenching (and my kid). For the standard set of wrenches they work really well. Just be aware that if you own longer wrench sets, the ends may stick out a little on the larger wrenches.

Sturdy, white label strip a bonus
This is a well-made wrench caddy, 14 pockets. Some others are only 11. Three hanging holes, so it doesn't sag in the middle. Very nice to have a label strip running across the tops of the pockets. Be aware there are short and long versions. My only wish would be for velcro ties instead of the strings, but then the cost probably would go up. I would buy this again (in fact, I did!).

Review For Ratcheting Combination Wrench Users
I intended to use the Arsenal 5873 pouch to store the HUSKY SB 2pc 4in1 SAE Ratcheting Wrench Set; GearWrench 9309 4pc SAE Large Size Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set (13/16, 7/8, 15/16, 1); and DeWalt 1-1/16", 1-1/8" and 1-1/4" Ratcheting Combination Wrenches. The following are my notes: 1. The 5/16 and 3/8 side of one of the Husky 4-in-1 Ratcheting Double Box Wrench Set would only fit in the 5th pocket from the left (smallest). 2. The GearWrench 13/16 Ratcheting Combination Wrench will not fit in the pouch any smaller than the 3rd pocket from the right (largest). Note that the ratcheting combination wrenches were test fitted in the pouches using the open ends because it's smaller than the ratcheting box end. This means if your ratcheting combination wrench set goes up to 1" you'll be able to store the 3 largest sizes (7/8, 15/16 and 1) with no problem but will start having a problem from the 13/16, if you're set goes up to 15/16, you'll probably be ok but your wrenches will probably end up "deep" into the pockets. 3. The DeWalt 1-1/16" Ratcheting Combination Wrench could only fit in the right most pocket. Overall, the material seems sturdy enough, as mentioned by other reviewers, this item does not seem to pose any problem to combination wrench sets that go up to 1-1/4". Will still work with combination wrenches but with restrictions. Rating this 3/5 for neutrality and not because of any initially observed flaws as it wasn't really purchased for it's intended purpose but might still work to a certain degree for other intents. Hope this helps for those looking to use it for their non-set ratcheting combination wrenches.

Nice Wrench Roll Case
I bought this 5873 tall case for a qty 14 SAE Power Fist extra long wrench set that ranges from 3/8" to 1-1/4". A couple wrenches are snug but works well. Material appears to be very durable and higher quality than expected. The only complaint would be the short flap to fold down but part of that is because of using extra long wrenches. Overall very happy with the purchase. I included some measurements to help others check sizing.

Works perfectly, fits my old set quite well
This was a pretty good fit for a 14pc Mastercraft Maximum traditional metric wrench set. The kit ranges from 6mm to 24mm. These are normal wrenches, not the ratchet types. It's not a perfect fit though, the roll is just a little too tall to be ideal for this kit. Because of this, the open-ended wrench heads sit at the top of the pockets for all of the larger wrenches. This is not a problem though. It allows the top to be nicely folded over actually. And it also compactly rolls up. And once tied, it holds the wrenches securely and since the top is folded over, the wrenches will never fall out. So perhaps it's not a perfect factory fit, but it's very close indeed and impressive for for a generic replacement part. The build quality is good too, I saw no defects or problems at all with it and it exactly matches the product photos. It's brand new, so I can't yet comment on durability. But the material looks like it is tough enough for regular use, particularly for a home garage or workshop.

It works
Feels like good quality, I've been using it for about 6 months now and its held up, it only misses out on 5 stars because its about an inch short of being deep enough for my largest wrench and a little too deep for my smallest and thats just a standard size mastercraft maximum set so I assume others would have the same problem
