every handyman should have one
I use mine for temporary storage of this project's tools. It's easier to reach down and grab those pliers without looking than bending down to the floor, and I always can find my pen, box cutter, and tape. I didn't realize how much time I spent switching out tools or the aggravation it caused: if you don't get this one, get another. But you can't beat the price on this one. I initially thought it was too small, but the pockets expand, and I've found that I can load it to where the belt becomes uncomfortable. It's not the most durable one in the store, but it quickly conformed to me, and for my weekend projects it should be more than sufficient. In the picture, the sleeve with the cat's paw is less than useful, and - just like the hammer loop - probably will only fit your cat's paw. I tried cramming my combination square in mine but ended up constantly jabbing myself in the side. Also, I wish that the hammer loop were slightly smaller so that my maglite wouldn't fall through.

A Tool Belt for Lefties
I bought this for myself having never owned or used a tool belt in my life. It worked great until someone pointed out that the hammer hook was on the wrong side! Sheesh! So, I swung it behind me and viola! Problem solved. My lefty niece LOVES it. The pouches are easy to reach into because they doesn't collapse when you reach in nor does it dump everything out when you bend over. The tool slots are a good size for most items and the belt clip holds without being to difficult to open. I have since bought myself a fancier leather tool belt but this one still feels like a favorite pair of jeans whenever I click it on.

On the job or for fun. Works both ways
Using this item for metal detecting. The hammer slot is great for a rock pick and the pockets are good for holding what you find. Cons: I put this around my waist without adjusting it and it wouldn't go through my belt loops. The clips were too think. I am not in construction so I don't know if they are suppose to go through belt loops or not.

well-built belt for use around the house
Bought this belt for all the "honey-do's" around the house. This is a pretty well built belt with room for a hammer, nails, level, etc. Only wish is that the pockets were a little deeper to hold stuff without falling out if I am wearing the belt and lean over to pick up something off the floor. But otherwise, it comes in real handy to get the tools from the garage and take them to whereever in the house.

Great for metal detecting!
I use this pouch for metal detecting. The side loop is a perfect fit for a Garrett Pro-Pointer (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005D4V27S/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_17). I place small finds into the pouches, and can use one pouch for trash, and the other for stuff I want to keep. I also carry my digging tool in the larger pouch. The hammer loop on the side can be used to hold a towel for cleaning off your hands/tools/finds.

Excellent value!! Good product!!
I really like this pouch belt. I use this to aid satellite installation. Pouches are great for connectors, and barrels. My 1" polytac flashlight fits perfect in the holster. It's lightweight, and seems to be pretty durable. I can't recommend this belt for satellite installation, but It works good for the way I use it. Hope this helps!

If you like keeping it minimum and having just the essential tools under hand like I do, then this is for you. Fantastic layout and ive had one for 4 years using it 40 hours a week until it worn out and I got this one, it was the same make and layout just green color. UPDATE: i finally got around to update my thought on this item from 5 to 1 star. Within a month the pockets for pencils were worn out and the whole belt started deteriorating and i stopped using it after 2 month. Pure trash. Not like before. Bought a HD brand and lasted over a year. Bought an actual McGuire off ebay in green color and that one is awezome quality!
