Battery usage

The product seller made no claim or promise, but these do not last as long as I'd hoped. If you leave them on, you're lucky to get 24 hrs of strong light. So best if used as needed and turned off when not being used. Otherwise I like these a lot.

Great lights but lousy mounting options

While lights work well, the mounting options are not so good. There’s no template for attaching with screws so you’ll have to make your own AND worst of all, the double stick tape is lousy. One of mine was attached to the bottom of the cabinet. Well, this one light fell off the cabinet and knocked off a glass scent diffuser the cabinet. Let say it’s needlessly smashed all over my tile floor. Beware when using the double sided tape!

Stock up on AAs

I got six of these lights to give my grandma more light under the cabinets in her rental kitchen. They take six batteries each, which is a lot already, and then they suck those batteries dry in less than a month. She only uses the lights when she is cooking or doing dishes in the evening, so I know they aren’t on all the time. In a pinch, they’re OK, but I wish they were more efficient. We’re spending a small fortune in AA batteries.

Warm lights

These were warm lights and not white lights - still work for the purpose that I purchased this item for, but I was a little shocked at the warmth of the lights (more yellow than white)

THESE SUCK DOWN BATTERIES.

I cynically joked when I bought two packs of these, “I bet since they’re marketed by Energizer, they’ve figured out a way to make LEDs inefficient.” Man, they proven me right. They each take SIX AA batteries, and they will be out of juice within 48 hours of constant use. I originally bought these to be always on under my kitchen cabinets, and I was shocked at how quickly the normally-thrift LEDs conspired to burn out the installed batteries. Otherwise, they’re very bright (when the batteries are fresh) and easy to install. The remotes all work on the same frequency, so it you want it tripping all lights at once, it’s great. If you don’t, there’s not many options.

Good light, works well, goes through batteries quickly

Glad I got it for poorly lit parts of the kitchen. The light is slightly on the warm side which I prefer over harsh blue-tinted white light. Biggest issue is that they are battery hogs. I will be switching over to rechargeable batteries x 18.
