Needed for smaller slim rollers

This tray is the perfect size, but is on the flimsy side. You can likely do better/cheaper picking one up at a big box store.

I wish the paint pick-up depression had a flat bottom. On the sides of the pick-up depression (the lowest part of the tray), there are depressions about 1/4" deep and 1/2" in wide. Additionally one corner of the tray arrived bent, but there was no hole in the plastic, so I taped it with shipping tape to strengthen it.

I used a 7 " roller to paint smaller areas of the room such as behind a door frame . I wrapped the tray in plastic wrap to be able to use it with different colors. I like that it was very sturdy, not moving or sliding when the roller was loaded and that the roller could sit mainly covered or barely covered. using a smaller tray prevented paint waste . this is also good to use painting furniture. Seems useless to some however I recommend adding this to your D.I.Y arsenal

When I saw some of the multi-paks with 20 for $17 and so forth, I decided to pay more for something more utile - I'm not a guy to put something down so I can use both hands to move a flimsy tray. I make my mess just fine without extra help. I'd like to give it more stars, but it is in fact, something the should stay in one place, unless you wanta put something down.
