Compact and functional

This log track has a small footprint and fits perfectly by the side of my fireplace. It has storage capacity for about 6 hours of firewood and is set up well to store tinder and kindling.

Very nice.

If you're looking for a log rack with fireplace tools, and have limited space, this is a great option. The product is made in the U.S.A., from hand forged, steel flat bar, that is unfinished other than a wax coating and will look great in most decors. Assembly is simple. Place the plastic floor glides on the legs, attached the two legs to the two rectangular pieces (that come with the kindle slings pre-installed), then unscrew one side of the kindle slings, and install the tool holder using the two slightly longer screws provided (discard the original screws). I was a little concerned that it wouldn't hold many logs, given it's small foot print, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it holds plenty of wood and holds it well, as it's a very solid, well made product. The tools are solid also, but not too heavy, which is great as you won't get fatigued using them. That said, the broom (as nice as it looks) is not very functional. I would have preferred a Tampico fiber broom for it's functionality. It would have also been nice if it included a set of tongs, but I know it didn't when I decided to make the purchase. Overall I'm very happy with how the product looks and preforms, with the exception of the broom, and the lack of tongs. If they would add a set of tongs and a functional broom it would be 5 stars, EASY!.

It's built as great as it looks!

This Enclume Sling Log Rack with tools is just fantastic. The box that it arrived in had a fairly large rip in the front panel, but luckily nothing fell out and nothing was damaged. Four bolts are included for assembling the rack itself, taking less than 5 minutes to complete. Two additional bolts are included for connecting the tool rack to the log rack, taking a few more minutes. Once assembled, my unit stood flush on the floor with absolutely zero wobble--very well built and SOLID. It looks very nice next to our fireplace, and it holds quite a few logs too. I wish this came with a set of matching tongs too, but thankfully it is tall enough such that I was able to hang a set of generic tongs on the rack with the included Enclume tools. I did have to open the tongs slightly so that the two handle holes would fit over two of the four hooks on the rack, but doing so made it fit perfectly. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It's built as great as it looks! I hope nobody else buys these though, so that mine looks more unique!! hehe..

Solid and sharp looking; one recommendation re assembly

This fireplace rack/tool set is made in the USA and high quality. Heavy not flimsy! The real deal! Looks awesome in the room - not some cheap set of fireplace tools in the corner. For all of that, you do pay a higher price. But if quality is your desire, I think you will be happy w this. We are quite pleased. The other reviewer noted to watch the 2 different bolt sizes. The two sizes are noted in the instructions but the lengths are similar, and the difference is subtle, so just watch. There are very few parts to put together. The assembly should have taken 5 minutes. But we had one difficulty. There are two bolts at the top that you need to unscrew and change out w longer bolts (to hold the tool rack). Those first bolts were on so so tight. Initially, neither I nor my husband could loosen the original bolts. He had the great idea of inserting the short-armed little allen wrench (that comes with it) into a larger random metal pipe we had lying around so we could get more leverage. That worked like a charm. After that, all was just great.

Good Stuff

Very easy to assemble, even with “help” from a two-year-old. Solidly built and sturdy, keeps plenty of fireplace fodder close to hand. Of included tools, the poker has gotten the most use. It’s handy enough to get the job done. Top-shelf product, three cheers for Enclume.

Solid USA Made Firewood Rack

This rack is made in the States. It costs a bit more, but your purchase keeps people working. It is well designed, heavy, and solid. The assembly that you have to do is easy. It looks great. It holds a fair amount of firewood. The included tools have a great feel in your hand. Solid, substantial.

Enclume Front Loading Rack

Use details: I live in NW Montana where it gets pretty cold and use a wood burning stove to heat my house. The wood stove has a limited area next to it for a wood rack. Enter the Enclume Front Loading Rack with Tools. This is a very sturdy, well-made, well-designed rack and the tools it came with are nice - the perfect size for use in my wood stove. I had no problems with the assembly, which took maybe 20 minutes, and it fits perfectly next to my stove. The rack holds a ton of wood and a fat stack of newspapers below, which also serves to catch any bits that fall off the wood. I love it and highly recommend, especially if you need to keep a stash of wood and you have only a limited amount of space.
