Don't always open properly
Every other one I open does not open properly. Very frustrating since they're over $10/piece. Unable to contact customer service, so it's getting a public review. The ones that work, work well. However, 2 out of 3 in my last box did not open properly. I would suggest finding a company you can reach out to with issues instead of blasting them.

Good
I like how they feel secure and attach to the skin good. I had a scar revision for under my breast and my surgeon recommended these. I can see how they would stay on other places but it’s hard to put them on a scar in a crease.

Possibly effective, but not sticky enough
I wanted to love this product! I previously had a scar (from a previous incision) that did not heal well, so I had a plastic surgeon “fix” the area by reopening and stitching. The doctor highly recommended this product and their office was going to charge WAY more for it than the price on Amazon, so I grabbed it here. At my post op appointment, they confirmed this was the correct product. I thought application of the product seemed fairly simple (by watching videos), but it’s in a spot on my back that I can’t reach to apply it. I had my daughters and my husband put different ones on and they struggled to line it up correctly 1/2 the time. I’m not sure why. The product advertises that each one lasts about 10 days. I was lucky to get 3 days out of it before it was peeling up on all edges. By that point, I only need to lightly pull it off the rest of the way- it wasn’t painful or anything from being sticky. So- I went through the entire package in about 3 weeks time. I think it helped a little, but I would probably have to buy 2 more packs to get the results they describe. Instead, I opted to order the Beautivity Scar Cream and I don’t have to worry about anything sticking on. In short, while I think the product would eventually deliver great results, they don’t adhere very well and would need more boxes to get a 2 month treatment out of it. That’s just more money and work than I wanted to put into this.

Not recommended for joints
The directions are quite clear and easy to follow, and the system probably works great on flat surfaces, but it is difficult to apply correctly elsewhere. I recently had rotator cuff surgery and bought these to reduce the scars at 6 incisions. The "applicator" on each of these strips is rigid cardboard and does not bend well to allow pressure to be applied evenly. As a result, only some areas of the tape are adhered to the skin when the cardboard is removed from the tape. Unfortunately, while I applied pressure for over a minute to the edges of the tape that were left un-adhered after I removed the applicator, these never fully adhered and the tape is already coming off less than 12 hours after applying it. I will probably transition over to a gel or other tape that doesn't have such a flat, rigid backing.

Recommended with Warning for those using for breast lift scars
I recommend Embrace with some warning to users. Beware of over-stretching which will result in blisters. Also, I had no problem with these lasting 10 days but they do begin to lift so that by day 10 they can be removed so don’t expect the whole strip to stay attached the entire 10 days. I have an anchor scar from a breast lift. My doctor recommended and uses this brand, although not for breast scars (more for tummy tuck). I decided to try these anyway after watching the the manufacturer how to video on their website and because I was having issues with paper tape. Breasts are challenging because of the shape and gravitational pull after application. The medium size 2.4” worked wonderfully on the vertical scar line (I had zero issues there) but over stretching to apply the XL 4.7” along the fold line scar resulted in the skin being pulled at the corner, eventual blistering, and premature lifting of the adhesive. Either don’t bother or try the product made for old scars which is much cheaper, however be sure to remove it entirely from the backing before applying to prevent stretching of the silicon strip and blistering of the skin. Update - I still recommend the 2.4” medium for the vertical scar where it can be applied reasonably flat. For the mammary fold under the breast I recommend using the 4.7” in the product made for old scars but cut it in half and completely remove from backing before applying. The smaller pieces are easier to apply without creasing to fit the U shape and are more comfortable to wear because the silicone is softer. I also tried silicon tape which was the cheapest, most comfortable, and easiest to apply but probably less effective at reducing scarring. Now Amazon has anchor shaped solutions that weren’t available when I had my surgery.

Finally something working for my port scar!
My port scar widened in the six months the port was in, even constantly using silicone strips. After the port was removed and the scar revised, it was starting to widen again. I've only used Embrace for ten days so far but just yesterday I started noticing a visible difference in it, with it fading and not widening more. Compared to other scar strips, it is way more convenient since I don't have to keep removing and washing it. It does start coming off the skin before the requisite ten days, but since it is still on there even if it's barely attached, I think it still works to support the skin, even if it isn't holding it fully closed. I also have fairly sensitive skin - allergic to most bandaids, tegaderm, steri strips, all types of paper tape, rock tape - and it has only had a very mild reaction. Since I'm not worried about hypertrophic scarring and the scar is fully closed, my main concern was just to find tape that would provide enough tension and not irritate my skin so it seems to be doing that job. If you're not allergic, probably rock tape would be sufficient and a LOT cheaper. Steri strips placed perpendicular to the scar would also support it adequately (I read a study specifically on this). However, these are not options for me.

Not as good as they make you believe
This product doesn’t last, stick on for just under a day and then it starts to unstick. Just get a cheaper brand , not worth it

Highly recommend
Best scar therapy in the market. Must be used as directed. Works great on new scars to reduce appearance and promote healing. Highly recommend.

#2 out of all the silicone sheets I tried
The design / packaging makes these a little hard to apply, and I ended up wasting one by doing it wrong. They should stay stuck for 10 days but they absolutely do not last that long. I’d say 24-48 hours tops. I have a nasty angry thick raised keloid scar on my arm, and I found that these did help reduce it. It’s almost flat now. When you apply it, make sure your skin is clean, and wipe it down with an alcohol wipe or two first to remove any unseen skin oils. I ended up putting tape over it right away to keep it secured. I did buy 5-6 different types of silicone scar reducing sheets, and these placed #2. First place goes to the silicone tape roll (that’s way less expensive) These are a pretty good product, but WAY too expensive considering they don’t stay stuck.

For flat, static body areas only
Gave it 3 stars because in theory this product should work well for flat areas of the body where the skin dosent move. Got this for a slice in my frown line, lasted 2 hrs. This box should specifically say that the product works only for flat areas where the skin does not move ie: forehead, skull, chest, stomach. There should be a "not recommended" message for use places like near the eye, wrist, temple, or places where skin moves. Many products make this clear as part of their obligation to ensure fair business practices. Without this warning the product box is misleading the consumer on what the product is meant for. They're getting a lot more consumers to buy it by not telling them it's not meant for their type if scar, but this is a reputational risk that I suppose will catch up to them.
