Tight!
I've always used the Elite Inox steel cages, but they've become extremely expensive. So I thought I'd give plastic a try. (Besides, it looks cool on my "vintage" carbon fiber bike.) (Though I'm not sure you're allowed to call a CF bike "vintage" yet. But at 23 years old it's at least close.) Anyway, asides aside, this thing does what it's supposed to do, so far. It holds my bottles in snugly and looks good doing it. My only beef with it is how tight it is: you really need to SLAM the bottles in to get them all the way down. But I suppose that's preferable to the way the Inox would occasionally launch a bottle on bumpy segments, so tradeoff. Hopefully they'll loosen up a bit over time, or I'll just get acclimated to putting that extra oomph! into the bottle as I put it in.

Good enough to buy another
Just bought a second one. I like this style better than the other metal kind. Using the new 24oz camelbak podium bottles and fit fine - a little tight at first then ok. Getting them out isn't the issue, I have more trouble getting them back in on the go but I am not the most coordinated person in the world! My biggest gripe is that with no bottle the edges are pointy and catch my legs sometimes. Probably more of a placement issue but there weren't a lot of places on my bike to add a bottle cage so, I'm stuck with it where it is.

Good cage
Good little cage. However, I was searching for a bottle cage that, when placed horizontally between my arms (in time trial position) , would not eject bottles. This was a pretty decent cage for that, but not perfect. After realizing this wasn’t perfect, I finally ponied up and got the x-lab gorilla. The only one that truly works is the X-lab Gorilla. The last thing I want when racing an Ironman is to lose a bottle. That would be devastating as nutrition is so important. I’m giving 4 stars because it is a good cage for normal use, but not the best for special circumstances.

All purpose bottle cage not as light as carbon !!!!
Elite is one of the top manufactures of accessories for bicycles and this bottle cage doesn't disappoint. Very sturdy well made and seems super durable like nothing it's going to break it. Personally I think is ideal for the average bike or mountain bike also. The bottles hold firmly so you have to push and pull hard to remove it form the cage, the cages are Not that light as other reviewers noted, and in my case I was looking for light weight and easy on / off removal of water bottles so this product isn't for me but none the less is a great bottle cage for the price. Amazon as always super fast delivery !!!!

Tight entry when adding water bottle
I added a set of these to my bike. I as well as other felt it is right to add bottles to these water cage but after multiple inserts and pulls seems better. I like how they look matching frame color

I see why these are the most popular cages on the market.
These Elite bottle cages are with out a doubt the most popular bottle cages on the market and having purchased quite a few of them myself. I can see why they are so popular. They are very light weight, but also durable. They hold your water bottles tight enough where if you are riding over bumpy terrain the water bottle wont pop out of them, but they arent so tight that you cant easily grab a water bottle and put it bike while you are riding. These Elite cages also come in different styles and a multitude of different colors to match just about any bike. So they are great for those weight weenies out there that want something light but still looks great.

Lightweight and look good!
Yeah, looks are important (oh I've ordered another colour water bottle on that note btw) I have put two different styles of water bottle in the pictures so you can see what type fit it. Whilst the clear one doesn't lock into place as it's not got an indent in the bottle it is certainly sturdy enough to stay put and still easy to get in and out when required. It doesn't come with screws - which is what I would suspect as they are already on the bike but I thought it worth mentioning it just incase you needed some.

Looks good - tight fit though
Nice and light, looks great, BUT... pretty tight fit on the first few rides in comparison to other cages I've had. The matte rubbery finish makes stowing a bit of an effort in comparison to the more glossy variations. The holder has loosened a bit, so hopefully this will continue over time. Would be a great choice for anyone who rides particularly uneven routes (holds firm etc.). Overall for the price, I'm happy. Note: I beilive this holder doesn’t fit camelbak bottles.

Does what’s needed
There is only so much to say about a bottle holder but this does what is needed. It fits well and was easy to install. It securely holds a decent sized bottle for those longer rides.

Good value, looks good and light weight
I was concerned it would not fit. However, it has a lot of holes and slots. As long as your frame has bolts for a bottle, this is very likely to fit. I have used it with SIS 800ml and SIS 1000ml bottles. Bottles fit well with no rattling. The bottle is easy to stow and retrieve.
