This is the Elemis eye cream made in England. It comes in a nice little frosted glass jar. Small is the optimum word. You don’t get much with this but you really don’t need to use much. On the whole, this is a very pricey product with no scent that I can tell. It’s rather thick with may mean contains Shea butter and I was correct. It is greasy and oily to the touch. However, it did absorb rather quickly to a nice matte finish. I don’t mind Shea butter being in it as Shea butter doesn’t clog the pores. It usually adds thickness to the cream and does help it on out as far as moisturizing. However, it’s not that expensive an ingredient. Not sure how they can justify charging the price they do adding this and another ingredient or two that you can buy in the food isle at any grocery store for around five bucks per a large bottle. First I thought they didn’t list the ingredients on the bottle. It’s just that they printed it on the bottom of the box in very, very fine print. This brings me to the next issue. The product description page state it’s formulated with a few ingredients that aren’t listed on the box. They must have changed the formulation but not bothered to change the listing. That’s concerning. There is no Hawthorne in it that I can tell unless they list it under some strange botanical name which would be inconsistent as they list other ingredients that have a botanical name and common one by both names. The main reason it’s concerning that they didn’t update the product ingredient list is some skin care ingredients can cause allergic reactions. Another reason to update it is the first time around you may absolutely love it. Then the second time you buy it, it’s changed and not as magical. This is rather thick as stated and goes on smoothly, absorbing fairly quickly. I believe it performs as advertised to minimize fine links and promote smooth skin under the eye area. I think it would work well as a facial moisturizer as a whole if it weren’t for the high price of it. For this being so pricey, I would expect the ingredient list on both the product and product page to match and be consistent when it does not at this time.

Although it has made my eye bags lighter, its a high pricepoint

If you have been looking for a nice eye cream look no further, but also take note of the high price point. The jar is quite small, but at the same time it's comparable to more expensive beauty products that work very well. I apply generously onto my eye area. I generally default to eye patches, but I like how this cream absorbs into my skin quickly and without any weird itches or redness. There is no fragrance to the cream and it's also on the thicker side which is great for night time.

Expensive

For such little thing priced at $110, I really think it is over pricey. I've used it for about a week. I really can't tell much difference between the eye creams that I normally used. I always switched between all about eyes or Absolue eye cream. This Elemis does very much the same compared to my other eye creams. It absorbs very fast. My eye area always feeling nice and smooth second day morning. It is a such tiny jar, but a little goes a long way. I like this over my Lancome absolue eye cream, as it was always creating blisters near my eyelid areas. All about eyes and this Elemis eye cream won't do that. However, I see All about eyes doing better on my eye puffs. I see no helps from Elemis on puffs, dark circles and wrinkles. Probably it was too short of times to tell the difference. Overall, I do like how Elemis eye cream goes on my face, but I probably won't be buying back again due to it's price.

Hydrating but doesn’t have visible effects short term

I have persistent puffy eyes so I’ve tried a lot of eye creams. This one comes in a beautiful blue glass container. I appreciate the luxury feel to the packaging but I do wonder if it might have lasted longer in a pump bottle. This eye cream is very gentle and hydrating. I have sensitive skin and it hasn’t caused any irritation. My skin feels smoother and more hydrated, but I don’t really notice a difference in my puffiness or in the lines under my eyes. Long term use might have a better effect, but so far it hasn’t done much except work as a really nice moisturizer.

Absorbs so Well

After doing my usual two days of patch tests, the first day on my arm, and the second day on a tiny spot under my eye, I had no negative reaction. I was pretty amazed at how my under eye skin just soaked this cream up. I don’t know about anyone else, but I struggle with eye creams I try. I just use my pinky, apply small dots, and then pat it in. I always, and I mean always have cream left over even after half an hour. That means I have to pat it again, wipe it off,or risk my concealer just not working. I don’t know what exactly the difference in ingredients is in this cream, but I definitely appreciate how well it absorbs. I expect to continue using this for at least several months (I think it will last that long), before I might see some under eye firming action. For now, just the fact that my skin drinks it up is enough for me to give it a ????

Pretty Steep But Radiant On My Skin

This creme is a bit out of my budget at $88 for half an ounce (15ml), but it is oh so good. The consistency is thick and rich like thick pudding and my skin immediately drank it in - like within minutes. Just needed a little dab under each eye. Left my eye skin pliable and firmer looking. Zero fragrance. Best off, there was no residue or shine, just a satin sheen to my skin and ready for makeup with zero streaking or caking. Made my eyes look more refreshed under makeup without looking dry. Some really nice ingredients like HA, Collagen, Shea Butter, etc. A bit high on price, but my skin definitely likes it.
