Base was crooked

No matter how I, or other people who tried, put this together, the base was crooked. Since I really only need the glass bowl to replace the one I broke, I used my old base. But it would have been nice if the base wasn’t crooked so I could use it some place else.

Nice floor lamp

Nice looking floor lamp. Sturdy and doesn't take up a lot of room. Needed extra light in our living room. Would recommend!

Not easy to unpack the glass

The lamp is fine, very well done and solid, I do like it. I mounted a LED 3-way bulb, the most expensive on Amazon and it does work. Only for stars for these reasons: 1. the package was all broken and put back together with tape, it looked like a return from a previous purchase; 2. the glass was squeezed inside and had to break completely the styrofoam to take it out; 3. my house is now invaded by 3mm sphere of this material that has a static charge and went all over. Glad that I did not have to repackage it for a return.

Beautiful!

Beautiful high quality torch lights! Love the clean white marble swirl real glass torch tops, high class for a good price finished accents lamps in our living room. Hubs had no issue putting these lights together. He said be careful & take your time lining up the threads or you could ruin it. LOVE LOVE LOVE these lamps! Have been looking for a long time, well packaged!

VERY WELL MADE LAMP

This lamp is amazing! Very well made and beautiful. Reviews are saying that a lot of people are having trouble with the threads and the poles going on crooked. Take your time screwing the pieces together, if you feel any resistance, start over. Also for anyone having trouble with the pieces not screwing all the way down and exposing the silver threads, there’s an easy fix for that as well!! The silver threaded part is actually a SEPARATE piece!!! So if your piece won’t screw all the way down, unscrew it and take a hammer and lightly hammer the silver piece down into the pipe just a little. Even if the piece is looking a tad crooked, once it screws down all the way on one side, it will straighten itself up. Mine turned out perfectly straight after hammering a couple of the silver threaded parts down just a tiny bit. Hope this helps with any future problems people may have with assembly, because this lamp is well worth the price!!!!! I absolutely love it!!!

Nice and solid feeling.

This was a replacement for a previous torchiere where the concrete and plastic base snapped after 10+years. I was trying to find something close to what we had and although I wouldn't exactly call this bronze . . .black with yellowish/gold lines would be more appropriate, at least it is a three-way switch and doesn't feel wobbly when its screwed together like some more slender posts. The yellowed glass shade is OK if you live in a smoker house as it looks like it was white and yellowed after years of smoke stains it. Our old white shade fit almost perfect and we used that instead of the, quite frankly, nasty, looking yellow shade. Not trying to hate on it, but it just really subtracts from the light output quality and brightness overall. But on the plus side it only cost $36bucks so perfection was not a quality expected. It definitely falls into the GEM category - Good Enough for Me.

Pleasantly surprised!

I was afraid this was going to be a “you get what you pay for” situation but I loved the look (and the price tag!) too much not to try. I’m glad I did! This lamp is gorgeous, sturdy and taller than most floor lamps that are double the price - height was an important factor to me so my babies couldn’t reach the bulb from the couch. It should have been very easy and straightforward to put together but there was an issue with the threading on one section. I’m sure that’s not common to all of them, though. Overall very happy with this purchase, would definitely recommend it!

Excellent value!!!

I am very impressed with this lamp. Exceptional quality for the price. The base is nice and heavy, sturdy so it doesn’t rock like some cheaper department store torch lamps. It was very easy to assemble and it looks great. I love the swirl glass shade. It was very securely packaged (almost too well) though the styrofoam does make a bit of a mess.
