Great product at a great price!!

I bought a new washer and dryer and this produce was recommended. I had never heard of it, but it is great for cleaning your washer.

Very strong Febreze -type smell

I am extremely sensitive to febreze like smells. These fumes are extremely well designed to bond with stuff molecularly, which is great if you don’t get migraines from it. I do. This smell further makes me think that a product is inferior, which is being hidden by the overpowering smell. This is only perception. Why else would a manufacturer want to assault my senses with the nuclear bomb of fragrance? This product did clean my washer, but made it (which had been in storage for a year) smell like a box of gain dryer sheets. After following the directions, I rinsed 3 times before the smell went away. If you are sensitive, this may not be for you. Please consider an unscented version.

This Stuff Works But My God, The Perfume!

This stuff does keep yer washer from stinkin' up the joint, but DANG! it has this heavy, overpowering perfume, kind of like how most of these new detergents smell . . . HARRORABLE! You can wait a few days and it disperses to the point where you can't smell it on yer clothes, though, so it's not a total wash . . . get it?

This stuff is amazing!

We ran the cleaning cycle several times and I cleaned the washer all over and inside the gasket and everywhere and it still had that musty/moldy smell. I used this stuff once and the washer smelled amazing! It lasted for a long while too. Very happy with my purchase and will buy again.

I have a Electrolux washing machine & love the machine ,I used to use tide washing cleaner ,but it has been hard to get at our local stores , so I checked on Amazon and seen this , so I purchased this since I do have the brand , I used one the other week & noticed a big difference in our clothes ,all seem brighter ,and the machine does not have a odor which I noticed a few times after using tide cleaner , this is our cleaner from now on .And 6 for a little more then the 3 pack of tide cleaner is a better purchase .

Works Like It Says!

This works better than the other options I’ve tried for visible mold and odor in my front loading washer. It also works for longer. It’s a better spend than the alternatives, as it is similarly priced. FYI, though, you can’t run the washer for a day or two to let the product work. So it’s not a negative just takes some planning if you’ve got loads of laundry lying around. Anyway, but this, not that - follow the instructions, and you’ll be able to scratch “defunk washing machine” from your to-do list without much effort!

Do I let it sit in the tray for 1-12 hours before running the machine I’m confused on that part

Step 2 says to allow the probiotic benefits to happen to wait 1-12 hours. Does that mean let it sit before running it? Or for the smell to be gone it could take up to 12 hours? I got it and want to run it in the machine but want to make sure I’m doing it correctly. Thanks

Stinks and unhealthy

I opened the pouch and it had a chemical smell, like Febreeze or something. I thought that would wash away and that it would be okay to use it since the machine would seal it inside while it sat. Wow, was I wrong! After letting it sit for an hour, I couldn't stand it anymore. My lungs were getting tight and my face felt like it was burning. My air filter started running on high (that means the air sensor found something bad). The fumes went all over the apartment. I washed it away by putting on the machine and rinsed the detergent tray. It still smells. I did another empty load with some Borax in there, and poured more water into the detergent tray to try to rinse it away. Still smells! I have my windows open and fan on. My lungs still feel tight. I fee like a fool... Should have just poured it down the drain after opening the pouch and smelling it. What a waste of money. It's like liquid Febreeze. It doesn't seem like a probiotic at all. Beware!

I liked this product. It has a gentle pleasant smell. Easy to use and appears to do the job. Using it every couple of months just to maintain the washer and I will be purchasing more.

Too expensive in Canada

If purchased in USA was 12.99 in Canada was 26, New Increase price to over 29 in Canada but in USA 14.99. Not fair exchange rate on product. New Electrolux Front Loader machine 3 months old, so I can not comment on effectiveness but so far no odours!

We have an Electrolux front loading washer. Had problem keeping gasket clean This works well
