Wish I would have bought a different brand with a better warranty.
I wish I would have bought my tankless hot water heater from a different company (with a lifetime warranty for parts). *Eemax only has a 1 year warranty for parts. *EcoSmart has a lifetime warranty. My Eemax EEM24027 Electric Tankless Water Heater was installed by a professional plumber 11 months ago, and it worked as expected... -until this week when it stopped making hot water. I called customer service, and they were very helpful. They sent me a replacement heater element for free because it is still covered by the 1 year warranty. The system is making hot water again. The thing is, I live alone and I'm rarely home, so I don't use much hot water. I find it odd that the element went bad and needed to be replaced in the first year. It makes me wonder if this is going to happen again. I wish I would have bought a tankless water heater with a lifetime warranty, like EcoSmart.

Excellent Purchase
6 months ago I remodeled my home and purchased this electric tankless water heater. I have been THRILLED with it. It does pull quite a lot of electricity when it engages, but the monthly savings have been very noticeable and it actually cost me way less than to replace the old tank one with a similar version. I got a closet back and saved money on the purchase and on my bills...win/win! If your local power company has not upgraded in a long time, you may experience a tiny bit of light flickering when the water is heating up, but it has never bother us. Also, I was able to mount this in an interior closet instead of on an exterior wall like a gas tankless requires. Huge fans! Never going back to the old giant again.

Be sure to upgrade your incoming power!
I like the concept of a tankless water heater, and I think I will be happy in the long-run. However, be SURE that you have enough power coming into your house to accommodate this water heater at the same time you are using other high drawing items (hvac, stove, dryer, etc) I am having to upgrade my breaker box and what is coming from the street to keep from having the cycling flickers that it causes, when running! BUT STILL, the is a great product!

Unfortunately, I live in New York City not a lot of people have six spots in their breaker panel box which this unit requires

Best unit ever
Heater arrived on time. Removed my old gas unit. Installed 3 new 40 amp breakers. Hooked up new heater in less than 3 hours. I’m so impressed how it can produce so much continuous hot water. I’m a home owner handy man. Installed it with no complications. Instructions were very helpful, I’m so impressed by this unit and would highly recommend to any one that’s a handy man. BYW, I’ve re searched all the other units and this is the best out of them by far. Don’t waste time searching for something else. This is the best heater you’ll ever find

Emphasis on energy efficiency!
The main thing I want to make clear is... this was the biggest change in my energy bill! I can’t believe how much installing this lowered my energy bill, especially now as it’s getting colder outside. I only pay for the hot water I use, and HOT it is. I was a little worried that it wouldn’t heat up because of the size difference, but it’s been great. There are 5 people in my house, dishwasher, laundry... and the water is always plenty hot!

Very nice unit
Easy to install. very small compared to a traditional water heater. Four adults living here no problem except when running a tub of water. Not a shower filling a tub is wide open and running the extra large washing machine the hoe water is as hot as would like.
