Our little guy loves it!

This is a well made robot for our grandson obsessed with robots! Many cute features and adding encourages kinesthetic learning. Highly recommended.

I’m a teacher and I’m always finding new ways, materials, etc to improve or strengthen fine motor skills. This little robot made a lot of my little ones super happy. It’s very easy to use and the screwdriver that comes with it is perfect for those little hands.

Came broken, common issue it seems

Picture this... You’re three years old and about a week before Christmas Santa, Mrs. Clause, and an elf makes a stop at your house on a sleigh being towed by your local fire department! They hand you a present. So exciting! Wow! You get a cool robot you can build yourself. You’re parents spend the time putting all the stickers on making it look cool only to open the rest of the packaging to find out the screw driver is broken and unusable. You spend the rest of the day trying to peel the stickers off. Happy holidays.

Good value

This is a great toy for kids who like taking apart/putting together things. Our drill broke before we used it and we had to glue it back together, but everything else holds up well.

Correcting others problems-this thing is great

So I saw a review about screwdriver supposedly being broken. Ok, it is not broken. You just have to click it together. Also the sticker that supposedly doesn't fit on the pants you have to move the robot's legs around and it fits just fine. Anyhow, my 2.5 yo son loves it. He's learning how to use the screwdriver. He has not mastered it yet, but is improving. Great motor skills support and great value.

3 year old grandson loves his robot

My three-year-old grandson enjoys screwing the bolts in and out on one of his favorite Christmas gifts. Nice study, colorful plastic body. My only request would have liked to have had a bag included to store the bolts and screwdriver in to minimalize the chance of losing them. Nice to have a toy that doesn't require batteries or make noise!

Not as "customizable" as you think

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my three-year-old. Once opened, the screwdriver was in two pieces, like many other reviewers' experiences. At first it appeared that the clear please can just be put into the orange handle piece, however - it immediately falls out. I think this is a defect because it will not stay in at all, making it practically unusable. Despite the defective piece, this toy is really not all that customizable, at least, not in the way you think. My three year old was quickly bored with it. Only the arms are removable. The customization consists of the included stickers and changing the colors of the screws. There is no real "building" of the robot. Overall, this was kind of a bust for us. Might be better for a younger toddler.

Fun way to learn

Bought one for my daughter and now one for my son. This is a nice way to teach kids how to use a screwdriver and assemble there robot

Great play value

Bought for grandson as a babysitting activity. He played make believe with him for hours and changed the coloured screws for different appearances.

Colourful, hardy and good for small fingers

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my almost-4-year-old son. A few ties (and scissors) later, we had it out of the box. And enjoyed immensely working out where to put all the included stickers - that was a good inclusion. He liked all the different screws, though so far he prefers using his fingers to take them in and out as he hasn't quite mastered the screwdriver action required yet. We'll get there. It's good to have the hands as well as the body in which to keep the various coloured screws. They affix and remove really easily, though small hands will need a lot of practice and encouragement potentially, which of course is the point. Attractive robot - we love the colours. A good size and feels very well made and sturdy for an age group not known for its delicate skill with toys. Happy with the price. Would ideally have liked some sort of open-up compartment to store the screwdriver in as this is likely to get lost (don't tell me this happens in just my house!).

Entertaining, but had quality issues

Upon arrival, noticed the head and chest of the robot both had scratches and was otherwise marred. We thought the stickers would cover it up and didn't worry about it, but then some of the stickers aren't staying on very well. You would think a kids' toy would have more robust stickers. Other than that, our 3-year old is enjoying it!

Nice robot toy

My son enjoys playing with this. Be warned it doesnt move around like other robot toys so it's pretty much static. Loses 1 star for that. Helps my boy stay away from my real tools.

Well made .. felt confident it was safe.

Bought as a present. When my grandson who is 2 opened it.. he was very happy and played all day with it .. even though he was not using it to its full potential.
